channing tatum and jenna dewan got their first meet cute in step up since channing tatum did made a reference in 22 jump street a meat cue-tip sandwich really?
I like it since it gives a wordless scene of first attraction, curiousity, and as a movie adaptation it helps make the movie say they fell for each other at first sight

THANKYOU SO MUCH for including Before Sunrise on your lists. It's been so overlooked for so long and it's lovely to see it's inclusion. It's such a beautiful movie series, especially the first. Falling in love for the first time is so exciting - meeting someone like-minded, who gives you butterflies and provokes mental stimulation... just amazing
Absolutely agree. We need to get over the idea that a guy pursuing a girl like this is charming. Noah says "why won't you go out with me?" Allie "because I don't want to!" NO means NO and consent is everything!
This post is a lil down, but its message is honest & 100% true: The movie Romeo & Juliette (with Leo & Claire) was a _fantastic_ movie & soundtrack. We especially loved the song by Des'ree titled 'Kissing You'. It was the song playing in the background during their meet cute. It was also our 1st wedding song & part of those lyrics are tattooed on my back. He passed away last month, due to the "covid blues". Time to update my tattoo with the full chorus.... If you notice one thing. All these cutie first meeting scene is from old classic movie .. which mean non of any new movies can make movies likes this anymore
The American President - Andrew Sheperd (Michael Douglas) and Sydney Ellen Wade (Annette Bening) Dan In Real Life - Dan (Steve Carell) and Marie (Juliette Binoche) Meet Joe Black - Joe Black (Brad Pitt) and Susan Parrish (Claire Forlani) The Adjustment Bureau - David Norris (Matt Damon) and Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt)
My favorite meet cute is in "The Wedding Singer". Robbie and Julia's first meeting is very memorable; not only because it's unconventional, but also because their chemistry is so undeniable.
My own: Before Sunrise, Wimbledon, The Wedding Singer, Amélie, Baby Driver, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Wayne's World, About Time, Pitch Perfect, Fight Club, Forget Paris, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Sing Street, Mad Dog and Glory, P.S. I Love You, What If, Two Night Stand, 40 Days and 40 Nights, Definitely, Maybe, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
I'm so glad Kathleen Kelly and Joe Fox's meet cute was included in this ^_^ Honestly, it seems like you've got mail is highly underrated and I don't know why. It's very sweet and just a very wholesome movie. And it has a good plot as well though, very original and it's not over extra cheesy. I would think it'd be more popular but for some reason it has always seemed like audiences weren't really aware of it. If you haven't seen it I honestly highly recommend it!! I watch it at least once a year, always in November for some reason haha it makes you feel all nice and warm inside :3
NJTJYJj, If you like the remake of Youv'e got mail, I recommend watching the original with James Stewart. James Stewart is an amazing actor. If you're not used to a different pace and older movies I would just be aware that it is older yet still watch it.

How about when their romantic flight nearly ends with a head-on collision with an owl? That film is an absolute masterpiece, amazing blend of drama and comedy.
My favorite "not handsome enough" scene in Pride and Prejudice was make by Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. I love her reaction after heard what he said.
I knew Titanic would be on the number one spot. Nothing beats the Jack and Rose romance. I wish Leo would do more romances. He was the best in titanic and Romeo and Juliet. 💘💘💘
15:38 "They leave without exchanging any contact information." Really? REALLY?! This movie came out in 2001, and it became my favorite romantic movie because of the name, SERENDIPITY!! This comes STRAIGHT from Wikipedia... During the Christmas season in New York City, Jonathan Trager encounters Sara Thomas at Bloomingdale's while they attempt to buy the same pair of black cashmere gloves. While they are both in relationships, a mutual attraction leads to sharing dessert at Serendipity 3. Sara reveals her opinion that fate determines many of her decisions in life. They encounter each other again when they both have to return to the restaurant to retrieve things that they had left behind. Considering this to be fate, they spend more time together and just after they exchange phone numbers Sara's gets blown into the wind. She interprets this as a bad omen so instead suggests alternative ways to put their numbers out into the universe. She suggests that one put their name and phone number on a $5 bill and the other on the front endpaper of a book that will be sold the next day. If each finds the other's item they are meant to be together, and can make contact. I do believe that is CHECK AND MATE!!!
Cinderella and Titanic are the only ones of these movies I've seen... Hmm, meet cutes... I tend to like these only in animation - well, as most love related things to begin with. Still, if I have to select one, then I guess I'll go with the new Cats movie, Victoria and Mr. Mistoffelees. I LOVE the fact they actually decided to go for a romance between the two, and I love how subtle yet sweet it is. It's not an overbearing romance, with NO romantic dialogue whatsoever between them, yet the sweet chemistry is there all along. A bit of an unconventional meet cute since Victoria clearly isn't attracted by Mr. Mistoffelees at first, but she still obviously likes him. On his side, it's clearly love at first sight, though, and it's so cute to see how hard he tries to make her notice him despite his insecurities. Man I love this movie so much...
My favourite meet cutes Sam and Annie -Sleepless In Seattle Lucy and Jack- While You Were Sleeping. Danielle and Henry- Ever After Ella and Kit-Cinderella Kate and Leopold Ella and Char -Ella Enchanted Giselle and Robert- Enchanted Hugh and Julia(man I forget their names in the movie)Notting Hill Maria and Captain Von Trap The Sound Of Music Ellise and Richard Somewhere In Time Steve and Mary The Wedding Planner Marisa and Chris Maid In Manhattan Ally and Jack A Star Is Born Holly and Paul Breakfast At Tiffany's Kathleen and Joe You've Got Mail Seth and Margaret City Of Angel's Samantha and Austin A Cinderella Story Rose and Jack Titanic Bridget and Mark Bridget Jones Diary Tina and Stanley The Mask(yeah I cheated on this one but by god was it so good).
There's also a remarkable one in "Gun Crazy", a 1950 noir film. While they sadly both turn criminal in the movie (it examines how moral decisions can destroy people), Annie and Bart are absolutely magnetic in their meet cute (a shooting contest). The attraction is so strong you could cut it with a knife. Great acting.
in Maid In Manhattan she doesn't dress up in designer clothes to meet a man. She was cleaning a rich socialites room and the socialite didn't want that outfit so her friend told her to try it on and he caught her. she then kept up the charade so she wouldn't get fired.

Disappointed to not see Andrew Largeman and Sam from "Garden State". Having to kick a seeing eye dog in the balls and then listening to The Shins is definitely top of my list.
The movie Titanic is a classic movie about history and I like the cutest couple like Jack Dawson as Leonardo DiCaprio and Rose DeWitt Bukater as the actress Kate Winslet and is very sad becuase Jack he die and millions a people they die of the Titanic
Never liked the wedding planners idea of romantic. An engaged man & the woman u trust to put ur biggest day together- fall in love. I guess, “meet cute = meet deceptively.”
The scene in the PBS drama where Victoria meets Albert is so overly romantic you have to laugh. Not sure if they meant it to be comedy, but it was for me! "Hello Victoria" *She looks up and starts breathing hard* "OH SWEET GRACIOUS this guy's attractive!"
MsMojo, you've done it again. In Ever After, only one of Danielle's stepsisters mistreats Danielle, not both of them. But her stepmother treats both Danielle and Jacqueline horribly. Please fix this next time you mention Ever After in a Top 10.
Number 16, Number 9, Number 3 & Number 1- Girls (and Boys) if You meet a boy/a girl who rescues and/or helps You Like this, then You have just met the One.

Jack Dawson meet cute Rose DeWitt Bukater 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Jack and Rose
Definitely Jack and Rose, or Noah and Allie! 💘
Clarice meets Hannibal the stars were flying!
While Romeo and Juliet's meet cute WAS romantic, I always questioned who would build a giantic glass aquarium between two bathrooms! 😂
Well, it made me look through every fish tank I came across hoping mid 90s Leo would pop up on the other side.
What makes the scene for me is Des'ree singing I'm Kissing You. Rich people and their fish tanks, right? Big smiles
I've seen a good number of restaurants do that but no clue on how that's a good idea lol.
I like it since it gives a wordless scene of first attraction, curiousity, and as a movie adaptation it helps make the movie say they fell for each other at first sight
Right? I always wondered the same thing. but it is still my favorite moment in that movie.
So, basically, Leonardo DiCaprio occupies the number #1 AND the number #2 spot. Yeah, I agree.
Romeo+Juliet was everything in the 90's. You can't get any better than Romeo, Leonardo Dicaprio.
Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet from 1968 was amazing and the theme song by Henry Mancini is a classic
Yes he did. Rick Dalton and Jordan Belfort.

Yes!! Happy to Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy on this list. That movie along with Sense and Sensibility and 2020 version of Emma are my favourite movies. 💕💞
