      It truly is! That whole scene- I mean, having participated in theater, etc - that’s pretty incredible - the whole thing. The laughing, the eating, etc. it all looks like real. I mean, it’s better than some of the best dramatic scenes. Legitimately. I think comedy is very underrated as an art form

      She's from that breed of comedians, like Aaron Paul, Pacino or Meryl Streep who give a final cut performance during rehearsals or readings. That does not mean that they're a superior kind of comedians ( Tom Hanks was totally out of place during Forrest Gump or Philadelphia castings, and yet gave outstanding performance in the end), but It's always fascinating to watch this particularity to be able to enter into a character or a scene so easily.

      They appear like great actors until you realize that they always act the same across movies and even off screen. The Millennials from Judd Apatow films are great examples of this lazy form of acting.

    • @FairGreenScreenProductions
      @FairGreenScreenProductions 3 дні тому

      @@Bl00dMalice I get your point. I don't completely agree or disagree. But I do think that's impacted by how movies (for many genres) have gradually moved towards a hyperrealism where it's a lot harder to find something that "works" that strays from a narrower range of characterization. Sometimes big, bold choices just aren't called for, or would seem forced in a lot of cases.

    0:33 dude's parents are both powerful Hollywood execs. He didn't need to audition. He got the part the day he was born.

      I have no idea who that is but i did watch Dont Look Up last night and that looks like a younger jonah Hill. If so then you are most likely right. They take care of their own and spend the next two years gaslighting us normal people into thinking their offspring has talent. Nepo babies. Gordon Ramsay's kids are trying out cooking and people actually believe their drivel. Some of the shit they came up with would make you shake your head in disbelief. You really want me to think that this crap you mixed is avant garde? Dont think so. Just look up some of the recipes he came up with. Its disgusting. Certainly not mainstream eating for sure. Not sure if it is even fringe as most people would not in a million years combine those ingredients unless you mentally ill or have zero taste buds. Daddy is a cook....i get it.....that does not mean you are one.

    Saying Jason Momoa was "stuck in beach dude roles" and ignoring that he starred for FOUR YEARS on Stargate Atlantis is criminal.

    Hugh Laurie's career wasn't 'launched' by his audition for House in 2004. He's been a household name since the 1980s.

    I wouldn't say that Jason Momoa's career "started" with that audition tape for Game of Thrones. He'd already been a lead character for all 5 seasons of Stargate Atlantis.
