I remember first seeing him in Bruce Almighty, and he completely stole the show. And that's not an easy thing to do in a Jim Carrey movie. It confused me that he wasn't some giant star yet. And then The Office came around!
Its just the camera they used. The camera for auditions in early 90s is the normal camera for for a cheap production company ten years later. Glad we know you've noticed it though and that's what you took from this video.
youre missing then best audition ever. The kid from E.T...Literally makes me tear up watching the kid say his lines. He is like 10 and his acting is amazing. Watch the audition.
Awesome video. Thank you. I was just have a "discussion" with someone who said, "actors just repeat lines that are written for them." I suppose that some do, but this proves that a talented actor brings more than just the words, they bring life to the role.
Seeing Jim Carrey reminds me; he is so primed for his “John Wick” moment. Not action, per se, but a good role under budget, designed to make bank no matter what. Like a slightly comedic Noir. Unexpectedly career defining.
The first time i saw Jason Momoa was in Stargate Atlantis playing a character called Ronon. This was way before Conan or Game of Throne. I could be wrong, but i think Conan the Barbarian was the first time that i saw him on a big blockbuster movie.
Whoever recorded this video is an idiot and either didn't do enough research or just decided that Stargate: Atlantis wasn't a big enough deal to be mentioned. Stargate: Atlantis was SUCCESSFUL as a TV show, while Conan: the Barbarian was a box office bomb.
Amazing topic, video, editing, production, narration - everything! Genuine shock when I saw that this wasn’t a channel with a million subs already and 100k+ views on the video. Good luck on your way to the top!
Dude, if you're going to be lame and censor your videos, could you _at least_ just mute the naughty word instead of using annoying beeps like it's a TV show from the 1980s? Lmao
On the surface, House is an awful show. A brilliant Dr. that is kind of an asshole to everyone. But Hugh Laurie single-handily carries that role, it would be so easy to mess it up. I'm not saying he's the only one who could do it, but he is the only one that did it. Although I bet Christoph Waltz would nail it also, frankly It'd be a pretty funny SNL skit having him do a Dr. House.
Steve Carell's ability to make himself go beet red on command is formidable
It's really easy to do. I used to do it all the time when I was a little kid.
He's a brilliant comedic actor though. Not disagreeing there.
I love how in the Steve Carell one you can here everyone dying in the background
I love how you made it to adulthood without learning the difference between here and hear.
AND, you can also “hear” …. them in the background……
Back to school for you! 😮

Thank you joeyotoube!!
@@CreatorsMZ This is an epic video
Cheers Emma!!
Actually this video isn't about sick, pure or vomit
I never get tired of seeing Steve Carell doing stupid stuff. He is hilarious.

Its eerie how much tom cruise’s audition unintentionally mimics those shitty early 2000’s porn flicks

6:20 you can HEAR seth rogen in the background laughing
He has one of the most distinctive laughs, haha. It seems like it'd be really rewarding to get him to laugh.
McAdams ❤
Thanks I'm not bored now. I laughed within first 3mins, job done ya coop as editor.

Dude, Michael Cera was already a star at this point thanks to playing George Michael Bluth (AKA Mr. Manager)
Great editing kudos !

Ronon Dex was an awesome character (thx to Momoa) with one of the coolest guns in cinema history.
Random viewer here so maybe the algorithms doing its thang
Not an AA meeting. Just enjoy. We don't have too come here to have conversations.
Was scrolling down to the comments expecting a lot of them. Hope that'll be the case soon man. Great video!
Thank you Mr. William Timmers!
Really good video, I was so surprised it doesnt have more views.
yea this was so sick omg man
That was a great video thank you for making it. Ive never seen any of these auditions.

Wow, thank you mofomo!
Yeah, it could have been better. This guy ignored several shows in multiple actor's careers for some bizarre reason.
McConaughey is better in the audition than in the movie, and I love him in the movie.
HOLY SHIITT I thought this got a million views HOLY SHITTTT, Very Good vid brooooooo
hummm no, Hugh Laurie had a very successful long carrear way before House MD, his performances, as an example, Black Adder is awesome
this was such an amazing video, i thought it had millions of views.
@7:22 Let’s not forget Tom Cruise was in ‘Tape’. That was his breakout moment & he stole that movie.
Taps
Tom Cruise was in a movie called taps like 3 years before The outsiders
Rachael makes my heart melt
miss mcadams slays
That haka was embarrassing. Jason Momoa obviously had seen the All Blacks but has no idea what he is saying or doing. Totally cringe worthy
Strve correll should have ended that with "too much cinnamon"
13:27 😂😂😂😂😂😂
what's the connection between all these? they all have crackhead energy and unrelenting eye contact, lol
Picking bipolar Jim Carrey to play bipolar Andy Kaufman. What could go wrong?
I gueess they forgot Momoa was Ronin in Stargate Atlantis.
That’s a show I forgot existed.
Jim Carrey may have shown nuance in his auditions, but he didn't really show it in the film.
I love Kurt Russel, but his Han Solo audition was pure unadulterated nope.
I don’t Carey did audition. I think he made that tape on his own and sent it in.
Jim Carrey did a good job but I thought Nicolas Cage looks a lot closer to Andy Kauffman and just as awkward. I wish Nicolas Cage played that role.
Who else auditioned for "Man In The Moon "?!
Can make you another one but with black actors?
Gosling and McAdams= both Canadians. Coincidence? 🤔
Mmmmh easy a was definitely not a first for her tho.
Okay. Jason Momoa was in Stargate Atlantas let's not forget. He was one of the main characters

excuse me but hugh laurie was a huge celebrity well before house its just that americans have no sense of humour and didn't know british comedy exists
Why all white actors? I mean, Rachel McAdam?
These people's careers were already launched before these auditions.
Jason Momoa is mostly known for Stargate Atlantis
Stop talking and just show the auditions.
This is a youtube video not a compilation
Emma Stone is good but also overrated. Same as this Gosling guy
Boring, stupid, worthless, no entertainment value whatsoever. AVOID!!
