I ride a Harley and have for many years. All I'll say is clubs shouldn't try to treat non COPS any different than cops. Would you block the entire road if a cop or 7 were behind you? No? Then don't be a cunt and block several lanes any other time either. Also, lots of people carry when they ride. Some have a very low tolerance for BS from gang members. @@Wheelgauge-bt7ox lol. Did I hurt your little bike-curious feelings? poor guy. Go buy some assless chaps and ride out into the sunset with your biker butt buddies
thats what i was thinking, there was no reason for them to take up all 3 lanes, them taking up all 3 lanes put the solo rider in a position that he had to find a gap to pass. in the first part of the video he was hanging behind them, its not like he was trying to fall into formation with them or anything. when he did decide to pass them, he had a lane all to himself, he wasnt endangering any other riders. no safety reason for them to have been offended. i have passed several groups in my years of riding, if they are in the left/fast lane i will tail behind them to see if they are going to move over into one of the slower lanes, if they do not, and the slower lane is available, then thats the lane i would take, ill pass them fairly quickly, so i get out of the way of the pack if they decide they want to change lanes as a group. its not a dick swinging contest to pass them quickly, or to show how fast my bike is, its to be out of their was and free up the lane beside them.
All the clubs I live around. Ride real fast. 80 to 90 sometimes up at the 100 mi an hour. If they tell you not to pass you don't pass. It's pretty easy. And if they're blocking all three lanes, they really don't want you to pass. It doesn't mean find a gap and gas it. I personally on two occasions where I had issues on the freeway minding my own business with the local dominant.. It's super easy to ask to pass. They almost always will wave you by if you ask. Don't ask and you're going to have issues. At least where I live

I’ve passed MC Clubs on the highway all the time. Never had a problem with them. Maybe it’s cause I drive a ford f150 4x4 with a push bar on the front and a big old bar in the back attached to my hitch, I don’t know. Show no fear and they won’t bother you. One time I was coming on to a highway ramp, and this MC Club wouldn’t let me in. Now I was paying attention and looking for an opening, being respectful to them, but they weren’t giving any room for me to merge. So I forced my way in. They weren’t happy and followed me for a while, surrounded me trying to give me a hard time with brake checks. I didn’t budge. I show respect and I expect to receive it. You try to act tough with me, I don’t care how many there are of you on the road, I’m not backing down. You pull a gun, well I guess I’m pulling out my AR pistol that I’m sure has a hell of a lot more rounds in it you do. Don’t get me wrong, I respect MC Clubs, but act like you own the road and expect we do back down and let you stop me from doing what I want.
From this objective point of view, the mc we’re being dicks. Period full stop. I try to respect everyone while riding and driving, and I think that should be returned. My only encounter with an MC club was when I was in my Minivan. On my way to pick up my special-needs child from school. They blocked all three lanes Of the highway And road slower than the speed limit. By patiently waited behind them, but they refused to move. I then flashed my headlights on and off, indicating I needed to pass. They refused to move. I had to follow them for 11 miles before my turn, there was a big line of traffic behind them, and my son was upset and almost in tears because I was late (first time I was ever late). Lost all respect for MC’s after that demonstration of immaturity and entitlement.
So if im pulling up behind a club riding and im trying to pass them , if i slow down and ride behind them (from a distance of course) how would i signal to them that i want permission to pass peacefully? In the 1970s Mad Magazine had a monthly sketch called : "You know you're having a bad day when..." I still remember it had a family in a car and their horn got stuck behind a Biker Gang....ha ha Matt NYC
I'd venture to say the sport bike riders skills are light yrs beyond the Harley riders. I ride both styles of bike I have a Honda VTX1300 (cruiser) I also have a Yahama R1M (spor bikel). The Yahama is an absolute monster that requires your undivided attention to keep upright, the cruiser...well not so much, pretty much drives itself.
Seems tyrannical to control other riders through intimidation. It must be exhausting to do this to every rider that gets close to them on the road. I understand they need to let other riders know to not mess with them, but there needs to be a healthy balance.
The Rock is my favorite actor of all time and has been for a very long time!! However, I hope I never have to deal with or encounter any motorcycle (or any) gangs. Sure, I go to the gym and lift almost every day, train in Muay Thai Boxing, and have two Glocks that I train with frequently at the range. However, I drive to get to where I need and get what I need, not to deal with people like these who think they're going to get their way by means of intimidation to average citizens. No one should have to be scared just to drive.
I get why they want to protect the groups of riders. But countless times I’ve seen Angels, Pagans, Avengers, and Warlocks passing cars on double line curves, passing multiple cars at once on double lines forcing the cars in the opposite lane to swerve or come to complete stop, or swerving in and out of traffic at 95 mph. This is in the Maryland and West Virginia area. Maybe it’s different out west.
Now I'm the VP of an MC in Mexico, but before that I was the tailgunner. This one time I had to throw myself in front of two guys which we didn't know who saw the pack and thought it would be cool to do wheelies next to us. If I didn't stop them they would've rear ended us at 80 mph
I passed one group 3 lanes away and got chased down for miles... I mean miles after I never once cared about their private little rules. Was a road Capitan that was yelling about never passing a club.... I cut him off in conversation and let him know that I was a veteran, and the whole biker club lifestyle started from War veterans... and then I asked him if he was a veteran. (Clearly not with all his felony charges) I tried to explain then, that perhaps I had more right to make up biker rules than he did. He showed a knife, I produced something entirely different. He decided to nope out.... pretty sure he met his lil friends at a bar somewhere with a totally cool story about how he beat me up or something.
Nah thats stupid. I can understand the safety aspect. But if the mf already passed you and everyone is fine it shouldnt be a issue. For you to chase him down and kick his bike is not cool. And the rider doing the kicking is buggin... Some ppl wont hesitate to lay shit down
I see MC’s doing stupid shit all the time on the road. ( Holding up lanes, cutting off cars, trying to bully other bikers, etc ). Personally, I see a patch, 1%er or otherwise, I automatically assume they’re assholes and little boys in their mentality and go around them.
I despise MCs that think they own the road. I pay taxes on that shit too. Get in my way I'm gonna pass safely when I'm able. If you try to block me or harm me we gonna get the cops involved because someone is going to the morgue and someone to prison and we gonna figure it out real quick.
As an Anarcho-Capitalist, fuck them hoe ass roads. I only pay taxes to stay out of prison. Also some states the gubmit don't own their roads, so they get easements to build, thus the roads are poorly maintained and the design is fucky as fuck. PA there's an intersection that both mom and I said shouldn't exist. And the 83 exit at Emigsville the entrance ramp going south is just windy and puts you right on 83. Maryland owns their roads and a lot of them are still dogshit. So for this reason, fuck them hoe ass roads, get an adventure bike and hit the trails.
I don't care if you are in a club or not, if someone is out for a ride and they pass you, just let them go by, kicking someone's bike is a bullshit move. Just because you're in a club doesn't mean you're better than other riders. On the other hand if you have to pass do it with patience, make sure the blocker sees you...
I never have to worry about passing the 1% group in my area, they actually drive the speed limit or higher. It’s the weekend warriors that trailer their brand new Harleys into town that go 10 mph under the speed limit that get the gas and gone approach.
What I see some clubs do is this: while I'm driving my semi-truck there's members driving very close to the center line while passing, sometimes foot on it, probably to show road dominance? Now imagine my trailer being empty and catching some strong wind on the side, causing the truck to pull to the left while they're doing this.
Still remember seeing some 1%ers get pieced the fuck up by frat dudes at our old town saloon. Just threats threats threats and then these young dudes just switched and cleaned em up 😂

I passed a small group of 1% on my sport bike a few years back. They was riding slower than what I was riding so I passed them in the right lane. They got pissed and "tried" to chase me down. GTFOH you aren't going to catch a sport bike on your Harley. Might I add that I passed them in the middle lane out of a 3 lane road because they were camping out in the fast lane and holding up traffic. Maybe they got upset because I passed them without acknowledging them beside me. BTW if we get anyone other than Trump back in office we are screwed as a country.
Honestly if you just be chill they are fine. When I see a club I usually position my bike in view of their road cap and chill quite a few car lengths away. And always get appreciation and once I was even asked to pull off at the next stop and was allowed to ride with them for a little before I had to break off.
Hey Sous. I was prospecting a club in part because of your interview with their president, but club fell through in my state.. Not a 1% club. I was wondering. I am sure 1%er’s ride faster than myself for the most part. I usually ride in the ‘slow’ lane when am not passing. So the question is what is the best protocol. Just stay in the slow lane and let them all go by in the passing? Also do you acknowledge them with waving them to pass you? Think the steroids and ego has gotten to the rock.
You move slowly to the back of the pack if that pack is in the left lane. Get the attention of the Sergeant at Arms who rides in the back of that pack. Ask if you can pass on the right. If he gives you the go ahead. Throttle slowly and pass the pack. Give them some love as you’re passing. Passing any other way may lead to that SA hunting you down and him having words with you. Ok, so I get the whole “protect the pack” thing and I agree with it 100 percent…. But bottom line, clubs don’t run the roads. Granted, most of the time they are riding pretty fast, so if you come up on them while they’re running 80-90 mph, they’re definitely justified in thinking the worst….. But if I pass in a completely different lane and they get upset, they’re just bullying at that point.
I dare you to say that to their face...

This is cute, a bunch of gate keepers getting upset over nothing. The guy just wanted to ride his own ride and the group made it about them.
They had no business blocking all 3 lanes of traffic, there was plenty of lanes to pass, if it was two lanes or single lane it would be different
thats what i was thinking, there was no reason for them to take up all 3 lanes, them taking up all 3 lanes put the solo rider in a position that he had to find a gap to pass. in the first part of the video he was hanging behind them, its not like he was trying to fall into formation with them or anything. when he did decide to pass them, he had a lane all to himself, he wasnt endangering any other riders. no safety reason for them to have been offended. i have passed several groups in my years of riding, if they are in the left/fast lane i will tail behind them to see if they are going to move over into one of the slower lanes, if they do not, and the slower lane is available, then thats the lane i would take, ill pass them fairly quickly, so i get out of the way of the pack if they decide they want to change lanes as a group. its not a dick swinging contest to pass them quickly, or to show how fast my bike is, its to be out of their was and free up the lane beside them.

The Yahama is an absolute monster that requires your undivided attention to keep upright, the cruiser...well not so much, pretty much drives itself.
