can you show us how to make a davinci resolve transition that has a sort of fish-eye effect so the clip would sort of screen pump and then the fisheye effect would go inward and then it would go outwords and then return to the normal screen. Its basically a screen pump but a bit more complicated and EPIC.

Great video. I think another thing that you can do for further isolation is either to incorporate a Gaussian blur. I'm not sure about how well it would work in place of lowering the gain, but I could see this working nicely in tandem with it.
@@BillyRybka credit, where credit is due :). Watching you since you were below 1k subs. You are indeed growing. And them tips and tricks, the subtle details, really help. Like in this vid, where my main takeaway was the trackers seetting from clip to frame. That was something I didn't even consider previously.
You are doing a fine job Billy. Thanks for what you are doing and helping all of us. Here is my tid bit in order to get people binge watching your videos: Please do something with your audio. It can get very tiring for the ears because your pace is accelerated and the sound does not modulate enough. You stay too long on the same HZ line which can tire the ears after a while. I would love to watch more of your videos or watch several one after the other it is just too tiring for the ears and I must take a break, at least 5 minutes after watching one of your video to get my ears back to normal. You have an amazing way of putting everything together in a really efficient way. Slow down a bit and modulate your voice or use a bit of EQ to lower the peeks. That will make a lot of people happy including me as I love watching your videos.
Ha, called it. When I first started this video, i was curious how you'd do the effect. My first thought was "Just mask it and darken everything outside of the mask". And you did exactly what i'd have done. The main difference though is i'd have done it in Fusion. For some reason i just don't care for the color tab and if i can do it in Fusion instead, i generally will. But that's nothing more than a personal preference.
Awesome man! Are you super big into video effects? Yeah I really like the fusion tab a lot! I found this effect to be easier in the color tab just because of the easy tracker :) But as you said, personal preference
@@BillyRybka I wouldn't say i'm 'super big into video effects'.. Just someone who picked up Resolve a little over a year ago and has been trying to master it ever since. I try to learn as much as i can in as many areas as i can and with as many things that Resolve can do, learning it all is going to take me a long time, lol. But I do have a preference for Fusion over the Color Tab. I think it's because of how things are laid out. I've learned a lot of what i know from UA-cam so i'm not professionally trained or anything like that. But that is how i found your channel in the first place, looking up DaVinci Resolve channels on UA-cam. A lot of what you teach, i already know how to do but there have been many times when you (and other channels similar to yours) will do something in a new way that i hadn't thought about. Or use a tool i had never considered using to achieve the same effect, or even smaller things like certain shortcuts or settings options. (there is still so much to learn) So i'll watch a video that teaches how to do a specific effect, even when i know i could do it already. Rarely though do i watch a video where i would have done the edit in nearly the exact same way, so that's why i excitedly said "Ha, called it"
If the R5 is 4K or less than it will be a game changer for a lot of camera users, I'm for one I'm own it specially that it uses the EF mount lenses which is a use category of lenses.

You follow exactly the same steps until the time to darken the surrounding. You change the colour value to zero and that's it. You have the computer coloured and the surrounding b&w.
