Just have to say - your birds bring me so much joy at a time in my life where not much else does. Thank you for sharing Apollo, Ophelia, and Soleil. I am sure you already know how lucky you are - but just a reminder: You 2 are so lucky to have such beautiful and funny birds!
The time and effort you guys put into these incredible birds is something to behold! They are all so happy and well adjusted and very smart. Beautiful 😍
Like people, they're all different. Not all are like Apallo. Greys can be extremely neurotic, not all speak, and change their entire personality overnight. I've known some greys that only made sounds like the microwave. Like children, you never know what you're going to get.
@@baublesanddolls that goes the same for cats btw. I’ve got one 17 yo cat who only prefers socializing with humans. I’ve got another cat who is 5 yo and loves other animals and humans, very outgoing and social. And I’ve got a 4yo rescue cat who is a one-person sort of cat who doesn’t mind other cats but avoids strange humans.
I think he heard you call it the "red bell" and that's why he identified it and named its color so quickly, especially compared to the material. You blew your streak, Apollo! : D
We have a sun conure, which is about the same size as your two birds. Some tricks that he knows that your birds can probably learn, if they haven't already, are: shake right root, left foot (or left, right depending on which foot our hands is closest), karate kick (a kick to the side, he can only do it with his right foot for some reason), jump, circle, touch, hop (down onto the bed, our leg, etc), stay, come here (he'll fly to his perch, stay, then fly to us when called), lie down (lies down on his side), shoulder or neck (depending on where we want him to be) He also knows up and down, nods yes and shakes his head no. He knows the difference between "crows" (who are very vocal, and bang on our roof when they want food. We feed often outside our back door), hawk or "bad bird" (he screams if I Janelle seen it yet, and lowers his head if I point it out). He's also 99% poop trained (flies to his porch, but occasionally will fly to the back of a chair if we're not near his perch). However, he's vindictive, and while watching this video, he kept picking at my hands because he heard "circle", and wanted me to get him a seed so I can ask him to do the trick. I didn't, and he pooped on my shoulder. He literally only poops on us when he's mad. He's done it before while on my hand and I'm walking him back to his cage. Sun conures.. Birds can be such jerks sometimes.
they said in the comments in another video that alphonse had to be taken away by the parrots rescue people because he wasn't in his natural habitat or something like that
@@niharikamania he wasn’t socialised as he was 8 when they got him. Which means he could only be an only bird or in a breeding group. Obviously none of those is an option so they rehoused him
@@mrnowak2835 is that so? but i remember the owners saying in the comments that he wasn't in his natural habitat and that's why the parrot rescue group took him away...
@@mrnowak2835 I've had lots of birds that weren't socialized. You can socialize an untamed, older bird with lots of work. It may have been aggressive towards the other birds so unsafe to have around them.
I’ve watched enough of these now to where I do big bird when you ask and wait for the click. I’ll take a pass on the pistachio though and hope for a cookie.
Those snack bits are too big. Break them in half! Also, it’s easier for birds to literally step up rather than down or same level. Thanks for this. All 3 are so cute.
I see ‘all the trainers’ using clickers. And I understand it’s a training tool. But … it’s actual purpose?? You use words, match words with the intention, reward with treats, and click?? If every verbal request (each a different word) is accompanied by a click (never a different sound) what’s it supposed to do??
I've owned parrots for 44 years and, for the life of me, don't get clicker training. I'm not saying don't do it, you do you, but personally I feel it's useless. It's just noise. They learn by your voice, your words, and treats. To me, the click doesn't do anything other than make noise. 🤷♀️ Just my two cents worth. Lol
That was really cute when Apollo nodded yes when asked if he wanted another snack, all three of them are so cute.
So cute. 🥰
"apollo is a bottomless pit" tori is like that one cool and funny mom with whom the children are totally chill 😂😂
Pistash pit if you will

I love how patient they are with Apollo and the changes he is going through. He's so beautiful and intelligent. Respect, much love.
Everyone; "apollo do big bird!"
Apollo; "what do mean do big bird, I'm already a big bird!"
Ophelia’s SO HYPED for shake. Every time.
I can't get over how cute Ophelia and Solei's feet are when they tap tap tap over the floor
"Want a snack"
"Meh"
"Want a pistachio?"
"I am at your command!"

When he did big bird I smiled so much going “YES!”
I’m so impressed that the girls know their names

Tori's got such a timeless beauty, can easily imagine her portrait made by an artist in 1800s in a gallery
This channel restores my faith in humankind
Y'all have some adorable birds. Apollo seems so confident.
brids are such silly eaters, they generate so many crumbs it seems like theyre only eating half of the nut
I love Apollo, he's so smart

U guys are so good teaching these birds
Your birds do wonders for my anxiety. Thank you so much
I love how Apollo just faceplanted to get himself down to the seat from the arm of the chair
Or is that a "beakplant"?
She looks and sounds like a teacher.
I was thinking the same.
Opposites attrack. He reminds me of the hippie type and she reminds me of the straight-laced, proper librarian. Lol
You are true avian folk! Nice way to live your best life!
He's so smart. They all are. Amazing birbs
How do y'all know which baby is which? They look identical to me! 😂🥰
I can even tell them aparr niw. Ophelia has a darker ring around her eyes
All three are sweet and calm❤️❤️❤️
"No Chewin Apollo" That's the sofa. 🤣 that's hilarious. Btw check out Hideaki Utsumi channel for the famous Gummi the Red Birb.
I love Gumi 🍅, 🥚, 🍋 , and 🥝 !
I taught my pup the term big puppy to get her to stand up on her hind legs or at least sit on her booty and raise her front paws above her.
Pleeeeeze keep posting your video’s ! Love from the UK 🇬🇧

I wonder if Apollo ever wonders why the other birds don’t have to talk for treats 😊

How long until Apollo learns more words such as pasta, pizza, and pretzel?
I guess sometimes he just wants to have a little rest 😊
It is pointless but so fun to watch. Love these guys!

It associates the audio of clicking with the trick commands for easier learning
Can they fly? I think I'd rather watch a video of birds flying.
they have a few videos of Apollo doing recall tricks
Apollo can. I don’t know about the twins
I'm sure there's tons of videos on UA-cam of flying birds.
