Sigh. And now Chrysler is discontinuing the Hemi V8. These cars are gonna become collectible very soon! It’s already difficult to find an 06 to 09 Charger in decent condition.
I had an 06 300c with over 200k miles but still ran great and some dumbass ran into me and wrecked it, but I found a beautiful 06 300c with only 45k miles 4 months ago and I'm really enjoying her 😎
I rented one this past summer with the underpowered 2.7l v6 and 190 or 195 horses. I couldn't even put $5 in gas in it when it came time to return it, and I drove it alot XD
I had a 2012 SXT with the performance pkg (Better suspension, few extra horses for the V6) and while it was nice, it still felt soft when handling and just didn't do it for power (Not bad with 300 hp but didn't have torque). I bought a 2018 R/T 5.7 brand new and haven't looked back. My reasoning for the 5.7 was price (Cost of car, fuel prices/car runs on 89 octane, and insurance premiums are not much more than the SXT V6 but substantially less than anything with the 6.4 and 6.2)
My 5.7 police pack gets an average 25mpg on the highway, 18 mpg around town. Not bad for the power it pushes. +its way funner to spin the tires on every turn which will take a lot more work and stress on the little v6
@@User-si7oi lol right... cost less? just get a good job nigga and you'll afford gas like nothing. My job is only 5 mins away by car anyway so I barely use gas in my v8 R/T.

Yes, definitely I would show them who's boss, I wouldn't be racist, I would just be paying tribute to an iconic car from a great show TV and if the people didn't like it I would just tell them to kiss my you know what. LoL 😁.

You obviously have never driven a 69 Charger or a modern variant. This car makes me never look back at the muscle cars of old. Vinyl seats and no A/C, radio delete and zero traction control with less than favorable suspension... yeah... no... I pick this hands down. Even with the 3.5l V6. Straight line... maybe... but everyday driving... newer one is better. Had a Barracuda with a 340... loved it then... hate to think I hate it now...
I bought mine in October 2005 silver sxt it had 14 miles on it I still have it 85,000 miles , it's still in Excellent condition
Why didn't you get the HEMI?
Bought my 06 in 06 and still driving it.
Still driving my 06 charger. 130000 miles. Great car.
Peter Vitti hell yeah
How many miles you got on it
U still got it?

The Charger of ANY generation is my FAV Dodge muscle car.
That was the best looking Charger out the later Chargers. They made it look soft
I personally disagree, imo the 2005-2010 Chargers just look like slightly muscled-up economy sedans. The styling got much better with 2011 and beyond.
@@nicksgamingchannelNah, I prefer the aggressive styling of the 2006 model. The 2011 model is fine, but the 2015-present model looks too feminine.
I LOVE THIS CAR TOO!! Charger ROCKS!!
it really does, cool styling, affordable, fast, roomy.. badass
Very nice this Dodge Charger
Why did he say the Charger was a striped down car in the 60's? Its was a premium car from the start in 1966.

No 1/4 mile tests?
If I was to buy a charger I would get the V6, cost lest an I could use it as a everyday driver.

the 5.7 made more power in 06 than it does now?
No. Its 370 to 375 now.
The newer model has more horsepower but the vehicle weighs 400 lb more so the older version is probably just as fast Apple to oranges😅

The slant 6 died in cars after 1983, trucks in 1987 and all together in 1991.

Marathon Jones the 2006 didn't. They added the 2.7 for 2007 to 2010

So slow on the track!
I’ve heard these model chargers are trash.
Good cars, they just had cheap interiors. 3.5L, 5.7L and 6.1L were all good engines as was the 5-spd auto trans.
The v6's were trash when they first came out, coolant leaks for days
This is nothing compared with the 69' Charger. This is new version is pathetic.
