I like this. Could be cool if there was some downsides to not having your safety off too. I did shoot myself in the foot once or twice because I hit my real life chair while trying to holster my pistol but for the most part any gun I get I just turn the safety off an never think about it again. I'm thinking something like if you throw your gun on the ground it has a chance to fire if it's not on safety or if you fall from relatively high with your finger on the trigger and safety off. Maybe also if you get hit by melee attacks with your finger on the trigger or if your gun hits a wall hard. In VR there is very little chance you will squeeze the trigger by mistake because no external forces come into play (unless you hit a real life object) so it would make sense to have it fire even if you didn't squeeze your controller trigger if you hit something hard in-game with the finger on the trigger. Could depend on the trigger sensitivity of each gun too. Like a sniper rifle could have a very light trigger so better use trigger discipline whenever you jump off anything or only turn safety off when you are about to use it but a revolver will most likely not fire because it requires more force. Trigger sensitivity could also change how much you have to squeeze your triggger button for it to fire althought that might feel bad so idk.. You would also want weapons at base to be on safety or if you have a pile of PMs and throw another one into the pile they might go off and hit an ammo box and start a chain reaction XD.
You should try using the other side of our backpack (top part), it has straps so you can put stuff there too. I think yours have 4 slots. Good place to put your ammo boxes so you can quickly access them during a fight without having to dig into your backpack when it's full of loot ! Also I think putting ammo there makes the boxes automatically face the right way so you can see the ammo type and content ! Really the best of both worlds when it comes to VR backpacks. Higher tiers even have pouches that can stack many items of the same type in one slot, perfect for heals and food, the main backpack is then free for loot and other things you don't often need. Looking forward to the second episode, I gotta see some enemies ! Although I don't think I'll look beyond that because I want to play it for myself when it comes to EA. Maybe you played it a long time ago ? Into the radius 1 changed A LOT over time, maybe the tutorial wasn't explaining much at the time but right now in the latest version it's explained well, very similar to what we see here. As for what to do, you have a computer where you pick missions in your little container house and then you can look at your map to see what and where your objectives are. You get money from completing missions and get higher security levels which makes it possible to buy better stuff. That's the main gameplay loop (which will be the same in the second): pick a mission (or multiple) go into the radius to do the mission(s) come back to base to get rewards, buy supplies guns and ammo, pick another mission and repeat. Missions will gradually take you to more difficult places until you get to the final mission which will have you complete the game. Note that enemies stay dead until the radius timer runs out (you can see the timer on your map) once it reaches zero all enemies and all loot crates respawn and if you are in the radius during that time you get teleported to a random location (which is probably gonna get you killed). Going to base doesn't reset the timer, so if you cleared an area you can safely do all missions in that area. Highly recommend it, the second will only have a few hours of gameplay when it comes out in early access next week and will gradually get more, while the first is finished and has a ton of content, it took me 30 hours to finish the first time.

People don’t usually appreciate constructive criticism but you asked us to let you know what you thought of the video. I found this video boring. There’s no animation or fluctuation in your voice and demeanor. There were so many things I wanted to know and see that you completely ignored like what the upgrades are for the rigs in the shop for example. Granted that could be intentional to extend the content. I found myself frustrated by the slow pace and slow understanding, leading me to nitpick everything you did which isn’t fair to you. I’m just one guy and maybe my opinion isn’t the same as the masses and maybe you’ll do just fine on UA-cam. I am willing to be wrong, these are just my opinions. Good luck to ya.
I appreciate the feedback. By upgrades for the rigs, do you mean the specific differences between the rigs? As for the style and pacing, my ITR videos are pretty slow, I agree, that's just my play style and I understand it's not for everyone. Nitpicking is perfectly fine, some things I don't focus on are intentional, others are just things I missed :::)

Looks barren.
It's actually pretty dense compared to the first game FWIW :::)
Talk About disappointment for a showcase
This isn't meant to be a showcase, it's what you will experience playing the game.
For the love of God please turn down the shakey camera in your video editor and smooth the motion a bit. It’s impossible to watch this. Made me sick 🤢
if this makes you sick then maybe dont play vr
i never liked into the radius because in my opinion it just looked so bland, their was no colour and wasnt visually pleasing tbh, but this sequel really changes my mind
