I love how they re-added Fragments and Phantoms to the game. They look and move so darn cool! You only ran into the 'Phantom' variant here... the actual Fragments have a glowing head that turns into a core once the body is destroyed. Just like in the original game, they look like mini-Radius'es... and they actually used the same sound effect for when they're destroyed! I put up a short on my channel showing that off. I also love how the Every single time they put out an update it's feeling like a different game. They actually added shotgun rails as well, so you can separately attach both over and underbarrel... though the shell pouch is still exclusive to the 'custom' model. Also, you can hang your helmet/mask onto the yellow carabiner on the side of the backpack! 👍 Every one after the starting model has this.

When I saw how much space it took up I found out about it by turning the backpack while thinking something along the lines of "Man it'd be really awesome if there was a-" and right about then, boom. 😂 You can also snap attachments on the side of the second and third helmets! Laser pointers (for some reason) and weapon flashlights both work.
And they have a lot more customization for difficulty, random anomaly rate, hunger rate, selling price and more gun variations you can find in stashes that are unique that you can't buy from the shop. (Kinda like the side by side double barrel and drum mag in the first game)
Even though I can’t play the game (alas, I am but a filthy quest player), them adding in the AKM is amazing. In ITR1, that gun carried me from Factory all the way to the final mission.
@KincaidCalder-vn6bo I'm sure it'll come to quest and they'll keep updating it even after. I'm playing on quest 3 via virtual desktop. My roommate has a good computer, but even that has a hard time running the game.
@ no, I’m not worried about it coming to quest. When the first game came to quest and quest 3, the port was crazy. These guys are absolutely wizards when it comes to porting, it was basically just ITR on a lower graphics setting and (this is an exceptionally stupid pet peeve) this one little bus stop missing.
I actually really like the realisation of features in into the radius 2. Fragments, weapon repair, armor system already look and feel better than in the first game
I haven't had a chance to try the beta yet, but the new Fragments look cool to me here! I like their choppy walking animation, I think it'll creep people out.
I haven't had any issues. I think I had to reduce the resolution to 100% at one point, but since then it's been running fine. Keep in mind it's still early access as well.
hey can i ask you something does the trees in itr2 have little pixeles you can easily see? i have maxxed out graphics settings too and i wonder if its ue4 bug
I like the new update. Didn't play a lot because it stutters a lot for me. But I really like that the ar15 has an adjustable stock. I think you can add a light to some of the helmet but I didn't figure out how. And like that you can lock the slide back and add a single round to the chamber
I've heard others saying the sprats are broken. They work on the beta branch, are you on the release branch? Maybe store the sprats until the next update.
into the radius 2 wouldnt update is it a beta? (just checked it is!) (ANOTHER note when i enterd the new beta all my ammo was gone and food and i only had 100 credits since i've spent them all on gearing up so im gonna switch back)

Steam vr works on quest and runs mostly smooth I deff have played this on my quest
@ I would play via Steam VR, but the main obstacle is that my primary computing option is a laptop literally held together with duct tape.

Same here and even worse the enemies for me were immortal gonna start a fresh game and see if that fixes it

The newest God Phone has a mod menu, I think rush horde/bells is in the menu as well, no need to dial the number of the beast.

If it's the latest God Phone for Chapter 2 open the Pause Menu and you should see a Mod tab to click on.
