Chance starts with his bass register, then baritone to harmonize with Reilly and finally goes to tenor with McKenzie. Reilly is Chance's producer on his solo music.
You guys still need to react to more HF Chance leads.”I Can’t Outrun You” is hauntingly beautiful 5 part harmony. Chance’s vocals are gorgeous. He also directed the video. “ Cover Me Up”, “Born in the USA”- I like this rendition better than Springsteen’s. I don’t know if you’ve done his solo of “Driver’s License “. If not, you should. He makes the song warm and enveloping.
This is my favorite of Chance's "not Home Free" projects. Absolutely gorgeous. I feel the culvert is a metaphor for the passage to the afterlife. Great reaction to this beautifully crafted and haunting song.

The (FOX) is McKenzie. She is mainly the songwriter of the duo. The (HOUND) is Reilly, he does all the instrumentals, recording, editing, mixing.
Absolutely love Chance's voice ... so smooth and warm ... his addition to the group gives them such a rich depth to their tone !

Adam Chance and the Hound + the Fox did this in conjunction with "The Sound of Silence". Very good how they did that. Adam Chance's voice which is perfect for this song. The voices of the Hound + The Fox that go so well with it. There's something mysterious about it. A song on my playlist.
The end of one song fits into the beginning of the other for both songs, so you can put them on continual loop.

Chance brings out my music nerditis like no other member of Home Free. He can do so much!!!! His ability to scrape gravel and not only that but I think in a lot of the parts Chance is not actually making words, he is humming. He's humming the guitar..I bet he is vocally adding an extra string. I don't know. It's an awesome sound whatever he's doing. Really never get tired of hearing these three together, either.

Loved your reaction guys! This song blew me away. Chance is my favorite HF singer because of his smooth, silky baritone voice. He has a few solos that he's done, his wife Sammi is the videographer for his videos she is amazing!! Can't wait to see you do Sound Of Silence. It's amazing!!!!

I wouldn't want Chance to leave Home Free. But this trio is top notch and his solo stuff is crazy good as well! I was waiting for Matt's brain to go into meltdown mode when they hit the part where they stagger the "I'm going back" with the crescendo. Between this one and The Sound of Silence... shiver city! They turn around and do The Sound of Silence. At the end of that song they turn around and do Wayfaring Stranger. No telling which one was done first. So I usually just play them back to back to back several times over. I don't know if you've reacted to the Home Free videos yet but Reilly and McKenzie Zamber are the couple with the baby in Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer and the couple on the date in their Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On (Ed Sheeran/Marvin Gaye) mashup. I know I've seen him directing in a couple of the behind the scenes/from the vault videos for some of Home Free's earlier works. They have a lot of videos out - just The Hound + The Fox, and with Adam Chance. Look up Reilly's name on YT and you'll see a lot of entries.
The culvert, btw, is on Reilly and McKenzie's property, running under the road they're on. They said they spent the whole day down there to record the two videos, and had a few neighbors *very* confused about the music coming from under the road. They moved there this past year. Considering they put up a graveyard for their Halloween videos, their new neighbors might be a little worried...

Someone made a comment on another reaction channel that they weren’t that impressed with Chance’s voice by itself until he harmonized with The Hound & The Fox, which ironically, is just another testament to Chance’s skill and quality, because his voice truly is like butter. It’s smooth and it blends so well with others, giving the other voices a richness and fullness when he sings with them. 🥰

Love this video very much! These three sound so great together and their styles are similar. Their voices even have some similarities, but also sound different, if that makes sense. I love that breakdown they did! It’s my favorite part of the song. I really hope y’all check out some more of their collaborations because there are more. Also, Chance has a few songs on his channel with one being an original. Speaking of originals, Chance has said he’s working on a solo album to be released later this year. I didn’t talk as much with Chance as I would’ve liked, I was completely absorbed with Adam Rupp, but Doobie and I did get a photo with him, and he was super laid back the whole time were there. Super stoked to shake our hands and learn we were from Wyoming. Seriously such cool dudes. The whole lot of em.
