We can all be a “Stronger Version” of who we are.
The daisy is a symbol of a couple of things. They can be referred to in symbolism as “Pushing Daisies”, something that Tom could have been doing if he hadn’t gotten sober & clean.
Daisies also represent new beginnings or growth.
In the bathroom, when Tom grabs his neck, there is a vine growing up his neck. He grabs at it and collapses. Everything is now a dream sequence until he wakes up from the bathroom floor at the very end.
We can all be a stronger version of ourselves.
