Finally you're back for goodness on some beloved tamiya cars!!! Do you know that this year tamiya is going to release a fiat 131 rallye body? 🤩🤗 Hoping so much that you're going to do Some work to it.
Have you ever tried grinding the “lens” off of the led to help diffuse the light. I learned this technique from Chris over at GCM, basically grinding the globe of the led flat. It takes the light beam effect away and shines out of the sides more. 🤙🏼
Yes i have done that but then i started to use a chrome pen to reflect the light back down and around and found it looks great! Both are great options.
They probably look twice as good in real life, as cameras tend to make any lighting system look like dogsh.. Lovely rear light panel, it looks super nice. I would say I slightly prefer the rally versions round ones, but damn if these don't look great too. :D Was wondering, it could perhaps work to put a light brushing of matt varnish isnside the reversing lights, to get them just slightly fogged up, to get rid of that almost clear plastic look?
Yeah i think you are right. The reverse lights are the only ones still not "right" and that would have helps. Even a light sand blast would do the trick but paint is way easier!
These are growing on me.
The race versions are great too. Ill have a build on that one too!
Great video. Nice 3D printing pieces.
Thanks! I do love working with shapeways.

@@AMPROEngineering yeah i use the chrome pen and this method. Takes the beam affect away.
That looks awesome
Thanks! I am glad I got it done.
Damn that looks good!
Thank you very much!
great job, am ordering now :)
Please send me pictures from your build when done! amproengineering@gmail.com
I always liked that body and the taillights make me like it more. Great work!
Thanks! Same here.
