- Oh man, it's been two years since I made one of these. I'm surprised I've still got it in me. Anyway, this is the brand new Trainer Battle theme from Pokémon X and Y rendered in Mario Paint Composer, a PC/Mac imitation of the sequencer from Mario Paint on the SNES.
Oh, and yes, I did this entire thing by ear.

How long has it been since your last one? Also, freaking awesome.
Just released? It's been at least a month now and songs don't take that long to compose if you know what you're doing.
Hell in a day you could sit down from scratch and compose (both musically and lyrically) a song, produce it, mix it and make a video of it a couple times over.

Meh. I've tried listening to people's version of it several times but this song is rather boring. There are elements that really work, but then they quickly go to hell.
The most boring music battle music to date in the games is what it's shaping up to be, which is pretty bad considering how horrible the legendary music in Sinnoh was (specifically the D/P Giratina, and Heatran/Rotom etc. theme not the others the lake trio and Dialga/Palkia/Pl Giratina were awesome).
