I'M BACK! After such a long time of no proper videos besides those updates, I'm finally back with a new MPC for you all.
This was recorded by RehdBlob. Thanks for all the high-quality recordings and for putting up with all the recording requests I've asked for over the recent years :P
So, I've been playing Pokemon Y recently, and I've got to say, they did a lot of things right with the game. One of which was the soundtrack. While some of it was kind of hit-or-miss, the hits really are hits. Like this one, for example. Usually, I'm not into this style of music, but damn, they pulled out all the stops for this. I mean, come on, that CHURCH ORGAN.
Also, sorry, I left off the thunder rumble intro.
Just a quick update on things, too, since I don't want to make another separate video for that. You can disregard most of what I said in my last update video. Not leaving the country, and no GF. So yeah, that's that.
Hope you all enjoy this one. This was incredibly fun to make.
Saved my only Master Ball to get Yveltal, as it was the best option of me to add him to my party w/out knocking him out on accident, and as for my insane Lysander, I whooped him AND his Mega Evolved Gyarados with Yveltal, and Yveltal alone.
Should've saved the Master Ball for Zygarde or Mewtwo. Xerneas and Yveltal have a catch rate of, like, 70 or something. Caught Yveltal on the second try 'cuz I accidentally got a critical hit first time around xP Easy Ultra Ball catch without needing to weaken it. Even got lucky with Zygarde and caught it on the second try in an Ultra Ball.
I never chance it with Legendary Pokemon, that's why I always go Master Ball on them, as you always have the chance to win another one in the Lotto ID, unless they changed that. Although I captured Goudon in Ruby with a Cherish Ball, and Victini with a Great Ball in Black, so I do see your point.

Well, even if you beat Xerneas or Yveltal on accident, they just come right back and launch you into another battle. So there's absolutely no risk of accidentally killing them and losing them. Also, how'd you get a Cherish Ball in Ruby? o_O
Don't remember, it's been a very long time since I've played Ruby Version.
Silly. A quick ball would easily catch him on round 1. Should've saved it for Mewtwo like I did
Very nice job. Great to see you're still doing this. X/Y has got to be one of my favourite Pokemon games in a long time, and the soundtrack is no exception. Any plans to do some of the other songs from the game?
I might do a few other songs from X/Y. Possibly the Lysandre battle theme, and I want to do a town theme for once. I like Dendemille Town, Snowbelle City, Cyllage City, and Anistar City the best for town themes, so maybe one of them.

Why does it have to have a ridiculously fast tempo? You'll give somebody a seizure.
I needed to use a tempo that fast in order to fit everything in. That MPC stack limit can be real annoying sometimes, and high tempo is one way around it. Just have to watch for tempo gaps, which are the most annoying things ever. ALso, high tempo lets you use individual lines for volume control without having to affect other instruments, since you can put them on other lines and, since it's going so fast, they'll play at the same time.
How long did it take you to make this and what is the tempo # you used?
