@@flailing_idiot I think your original sounds are good. Lindas are helped by a team in the background macro managing their song covers and such. You're doing it all on your own. If you can sing about relevant world issues as punk does it would hit the mark. There's so much music to draw from and finding your own sound and originality is better than rehashing the same punk 4 chords over and over. One of the things l like about Babymetal is its a fusion of metal and pop and they use violins piano and synthesizers. They have such a cool sound and every song sounds different. That would be cool to bring in some synthesizers to the mix with the punk guitars like early Blondie. Just suggesting. Sky is the limit!

I listen to all kinds of music (on a Bluegrass kick at the moment) but, this style of music is near and dear to my heart as I played this style in bands as well, waaay back when.
