So the reason she started hating him... was because he said he didn't want to hang out with her due to heavy harassment.... while I do agree that they should've talked it out sooner, the real fault belongs to those bullies thinking they should use such a thing for a quick laugh.
It was teasing, not heavy harassment. What must have happened is that his boy friends told him girls were lame and made fun of him for spending so much time with her and he ended up being swayed by their words. Not an okay thing to do, but nothing as serious as "heavy harassment" either

Amazing video! Honestly, I have to blame those boys who teased Shinichi for making him embarrassed and that's where his friendship with Kanae ended. Same with Shinichi's and Kanae's stubborness. They should have been honest with each other so soon, but I'm glad that they were on their date. Now they can get along really well as a couple by forgetting bad memories. Nice to see both Shinichi and Kanae both reconcile and make up after Kanae regained her memories, but it really would have been better had they both communicated more and were more open with one another. Maybe all of this trouble with their relationship could have been avoided.

I had a feeling Kanae had regained her memories but was still pretending but Shinichi realized it and called her out. I don’t know why only Shinichi apologized. Kanae should also apologize for giving Shinichi the cold shoulder. But I feel like Shinichi let those guys who were teasing him get to him and him telling Kanae he doesn’t want to be seen with her hurt her which is probably why she gave him the cold shoulder. To sum it up they wasted years distancing themselves from each because of their stupidity. I’m glad everything has been resolved now

It’s not a manga channel, and it’s more like Sekai no Fushigi in that it focuses more on “slice of life” stories and less on romcom stuff. Do a search for “Monirobo” and you should be able to find it

The sudden bulllshido caught me off guard lol.
While Shinichi was in the wrong for saying what he said when he was a young kid, But boys acting like that is actually very normal. Children just like everyone else don't like getting bullied or harrassed and can act without thinking about what it can cause or how it could hurt others. Why? Becuase children are often selfish and dimwitted.
Kanae is in the wrong for allowing something the person she loved said when they were a kid, get the better of her. Most people change as they grow older. But she didn't. She decided to still act like a child, and not talk with him about it and act as if he bullied her. For this fiasko of theirs she is at fault. Why do so many people always act as if the guy is at fault when he said this as a CHILD.
This would have fit better if it took place during their time in highschool as his words would actually mean something more when compared to if he said it as a kid.
If it took place during highschool I would have agreed that he's at fault. But because he said it as a child, she's at fault for it going on for as long as it did. As she made him believe that she hated him when in fact she didn't. Kanon please do better. You did well with finally coming with a new idea for once as the videos generally feel so identical and over time has lost their spark due to the lack of innovation. Please do it better next time.

Damn seeing this remind me of my childhood crush. We used to play and hangout together till she have to move away then when i finally see her at public, she has a guy with a kids by her hand, that shattered my heart and i try to move on but then i just cannot love a girl anymore.
To be fair, though I would understand Kanae's POV why she gave him a cold shoulder, that shouldn't be the reason why she should also avoided him all those years before the accident. They could have talked about this earlier and settled their matters and its not fair from her part. The guy suffered long enough because he forgot what he did and she didn't explain to him either, so I'm not surprised why he was avoiding her too for years.
But however, I think Shinichi as a friend should have defended her and not listened to those people who teased him. Regardless of gender, having a childhood friend is a special bond between two or more people. As children, its common for these kids who think that friendship between opposite genders are lame and boring, I get that he was probably pressured. But his action was also what made him lonely in the process because Kanae didn't seem to care about him anymore.
But I'm glad both of them made up as adults.
