Hi my dear friend, I’m so happy to see this, I don’t know nearly enough about Cilla. What an incredible voice she had, it just takes your breath away. I have a video of her tv show, singing Life’s A Gas with Marc Bolan. She was a great lady. I’ve been unwell, it’s lovely to be here again, I’ve got a few episodes to catch up on! I really admire the way you’re so thorough with your research. You manage to paint such a full picture in a short amount of time, and that’s hard. So well done! Thank you so much 🤗
Thank you Deidre I hope you are ok and on the mend my friend 🙏❤ Sending lots of good vibes your way 🤗💝💕🌈 Take care and always so lovely to see you here 🥰👍
I was to young when she first came to fame. I never understood why anyone would sing a song about a hut ( Anyone who had a hut)😅. My mum and dad liked her but she was not my thing at all. But hey a lot of people liked her and that's their choice. Thank you for this all the same ❤❤
She never had the success in the US like some British singers. Most notably, Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Mary Hopkin, Marianne Faithful. Her Liverpool ties with the Beatles, and Brian Epstein propelled her fame in England, which was significant. Glad she had a happy homelife and family...which many singers never achieve.
It stated she had been sun bathing on her terrace and had possibly been unsteady when she got up. The best was extreme that time. Cilla had also had a fall at a friends in the week before. Very sad, but the fall probably did cause the bleed!
I live in NY & I thought she had an awesome voice! "Youre my world" would give me chills!
She was great and despite fame and wealth she was still down to earth , absolutely loved her 💝
I loved Cilla Black and her songs. Cilla and I were both born in the same year 1943. It’s September 2024 now !
Love Cilla Black
RIP 🌹🌹🌹🌹
A wonderful singer/entertainer,my earliest memory of Ciilla was hearing "Loves just a broken heart" on the radio RIP Cilla💎 Auckland New Zealand 2024
Amazing singer. RIP .
Thank you for doing a video on Cilla, I myself am from Liverpool and suffer with Rhumatoid Arthritis so I know the pain Cilla was in. God bless her.
So glad you enjoyed it Eileen 🥰 Take care ❤
I loved Cilla Black's music

Another story goes that John Lennon suggested she adopt the name Cilla BLACK if she wanted to make it in the music industry
Have you done Roy Orbison?
Not as yet but have popped him on the list thank you for the suggestion 😁👍
8:54 Stroke AFTER falling? maybe Stroke CAUSED the fall. I wouldn't trust that Autopsy.

She got lucky and had a horrible, nasal voice that could curdle milk.
