I miss my long hair so much. It used to be down to my waist, and now it has just grown past my shoulders. I donated 10 inches of it back in February and it has grown maybe 2 1/2 inches in 9 months. It is funny to me how I can shave my legs and then they need to be shaved again in 2 days and my hair takes years to grow out.

Dear people in the comment section. Here's the answer, hope you see it.
- is sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate the same? Kind of. As long as it's SULFATE, it's bad.
- why sulfate is bad? Because it's harsh detergent that found in soap, shampoo, etc. that supposed to clear away all the oils, and it's kind of bad for your hair.
- why don't shampoo your ends? Because shampoo does dry out your hair, and your ends is dry already, don't need that.

My shampoo has the ingredient but it is the last on the list, it is an argan oil shampoo and it says that it is mild ( I wash my hair every other day with a mild shampoo to not make it dry, I have an oily scalp and especially when I have my period ). I have a macademia oil conditioner ( it is from England, I found it at the store over the street😂 im from Norway )

I really wanna grow out my hair. My routine is:
EVERYWEEKDAY: Massage my scalp for 4 minutes
EVERY 2-3 DAY: Use stimulating Shampoo & conditioner
EVERY SATURDAY: Use coconut oil massage
EVERY SUNDAY: Use stimulating hair mask
DOES THIS SEEM A GOOD ROUTINE? IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD ADJUST (If so, what) ? OR IS THIS OVERKILL (What should I have as my routine instead) ??

+Tomoka Tanaka I use vitamin e oil in my hair after I ahower just a thin coat so your hair doesn't look oily and leave it in over night. the vitamin e oil helps moisturize your hair putting natural oils back into your hair.

i use Fast shampoos most of the time for faster growing hair, only downside, its abit expensive, but worth it.

YES, she will stop a sentence right in the middle and sometimes she's like about to tell you why you should do the hack but she cuts it off. defeats the purpose of the video unless she really didn't care or want it to be very informative of why you should do the hacks.

Co washing (Conditioner washing your scalp) is actually a thing. More common in curly hair because of the needed moisture curls need.

I know this isn't really possible for some as you have to have your hair done for school or work, but i've been letting my hair air dry and not using ANY HEAT unless its necessary for a special event and my hair has been growing pretty fast and staying super healthy.

I love Christmas vacation cause it means I don't have to wash my hair for two weeks.
T!!! The hack about trimming split ends with nail trimmers is so genius! I hate having split ends so I cut them with my kitchen scissors (I know it was a bad idea) and my split ends got worse! I was thinking about investing in shears but this hack saved me!

Crushing up a few prenatal vitamins and putting them in your shampoo and letting it sit while you do the rest of your shower routine is also pretty great. It also adds a lot of shine. Just do it every other bottle so your hair doesn't get used to it

I made this DIY hairmask which has: an egg, half an onion, a tablespoon of honey, 3 tablespoons of coconut oil, a tablespoon of avocado oil. At the ends of my hair i have coconut oil, argan oil, and avocado oil mixed together. I'm loving this hair treatment!! ❤

I have used Shea Moisture for hair growth. Jamaican castor oil is awesome for hair growth, and it's an ingredient in the hair growth shampoo and conditioner. plus it's organic and not animal tested. 😜 I've also used OGX products or Mane N Tail. all that is sold at Walmart.

I use organix coconut milk it has no sls and smells like tropicana tanning oil it's scrummy my hair grew 3 inches this month I washed it once per week, used dry shampoo every 2nd day and coconut oil overnight once per week don't towel dry use an old tshirt instead and try to leave it to dry naturally as much as possible..... if u MUST dry your hair or apply heat use a heat defence spray :-)

Before you go in a pool with chlorine always put conditioner or coco oil beforehand so your hair doesn't get damage from the chlorine

Yes, but chlorine also damages it. I suggest also using oils, lotion or etc. To help it. And use a light shampoo
There are some shampoos and conditions that are specific for swimmers, I know Mitchell's is a good brand for that although it's a little pricey I think.

As for how to brush your hair and brushing from the bottom up, I had to learn this all on my own when I had hair all the way down to my waist! My hair was SO damaged from brushing from root to tip! Finally I just abandoned my brush and started combing through from tip to root with my fingers (which actually also helps even more because you can untangle your hair yourself without yanking it apart, kind of like undoing a knot).

I use conditioner only I only use shampoo if my hair gets extremely dirty. I use a lot of baking soda. I put my hair in Dutch braids in when I sleep. I have to put avocado in my hair every other month. And egg on the months I don’t.

No, actually its the opposite. You get lice if u have clean hair because lice are more attracted to cleaner hair than 'dirty' hair.

exactly that's why it's better if you use grease in your hair. Especially for lightskins. Don't jump on my back(NOT BEING RACIST) but I heard that African Americans don't get lice as fast as Whites do because African Americans have more natural oil or something like that. But if you do happen to have lice Grease kills them immediately

I use Marc Anthony sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner in coconut. Then once a week I use raw, organic oil, not heated in a microwave, and leave in overnight. My hair has never been softer, and I have thick, coarse hair.

I can not express to you how fast the Argan rain Shampoo has worked for me. My hair has great grown in two months. My goal is to have hip length hair, and I am sure I will reach that milestone within 6 months.
A tip to avoid greasy hair when you're trying to not wash it as often is to put it in some French braids, it makes your hair look a lot less greasy and it's beautiful when you take the beaded out;)
