My husband is from Gordonsville. He is very proud to have went to school there an played sports for the school..😁
Odd as it may seem, I grew up in an area just outside of Toronto, Canada, which is an awful lot like this place. Our house was in a GM town; and a short bike ride North-East along the trails that wound through the forests and meadows, ended up in a hollow just like this. There was a farmhouse on the edge of the hollow (East of which were located the barns, pens and pastures); and there was even a pond at the bottom of the hollow. I always suspected that it was a pond that was partially improved by the farmer... the water was so clean... and a stream fed into it 24/7).
Just looking at everything in this video, showing the treeline... the grass... the blue skies with clouds... takes me back to when I was a boy.
The last time that I saw the old place that I went to, it was overgrown; and the farmhouse looked like it wasn't looked after. Whoever took over the farm didn't appreciate what they had, but obviously this guy does!
I hope he stays successful in his business venture. It's beautiful!
