Thanks for the video. Mixing the egg in rice first makes the dish so uniform. Its kind of beautiful
Thank you so much for the recipe at the end. I don’t have a wok and I was feeling a little intimidated, but this looks easy and delicious and I will try it.
Can't believe he said Oliver is shit lol
Chef this video is even more funny then rogers video 🤣🤣🤣
Aussie shouldn't buy his products aka he's been cancalled lol
I like this chef🤣🤣🤣 he's just so good at roasting Jamie Oliver🤣
i love these people who are shocked he used 'olive oil like it ''cannot'' be used
The instruction at the end really set this apart from other reactions for me. 👍
Love the white cat. Will try your fried rice method. Thank you.
Thank you for showing us how to make Japanese egg fried rice. I can't wait to try it! :)
I'm Thai. My mom cried because of this curry. It's not Thai green curry and I want to say that Mr. Jamie Oliver is a destroyer of Asian recipes
The only good thing about him, is that he united the entire people of Asian continents AGAINST HIM.
Thanks for the mix-egg-with-rice tip! Much easier to get a good result!
I really don't want think it's a side dish in a western country. It has all the things for a dish in it already, can't be a side dish. That's like calling lasagna a side dish. Jamie Oliver just got it wrong 😂
I want to know is tofu normally kept in drawer at room temperature? I always see tofu in refrigerator.
Tofu is always keep in refrigerator, only Jamie kept in drawer lol
Oh that is just disgusting as hell.
The juice box tofu is ultra pasteurized so it can be kept on the shelf until it is opened. But silken tofu is very wet. No wonder his rice is drowned! Also it tastes like nothing so you have to season it a lot. Did you notice Jamie’s face when he tasted it? Even he knew it tasted like sh!t.
I have seen that exact tofu in the US markets. I never buy it because they also sell the tofu in the refrigerated section.
*Egg mixed on warm cooked rice* was my childhood food from the Philippines. To turn it into fried rice like that, I was in awe. I should try it if I have a chance👍
This reaction is amazing 🤣
"no wonder why all his restaurants are closed"
DAAAAAAAAMN that was 🔥🔥🔥
In cooking there is 2 kinds of quality... The first is delicious to die for.. The other chefs called "It's Already ShIt" 😂😂
me looking for fried rice for breakfast....
me: moooom!! where's our fried rice???
mom: there's no fried rice. we've finished all the rice last night.
then make fried rice with newly cooked rice. It's good as well :P
Delicious looking rice, and cute cat in /near restaurant?
Got a fresh sub for ya 🖒👏
I admit I’ve bought some precooked rice, usually it’s like say a mixed rice, say Spanish rice or something when I’m in a rush 😂 but do have rice like you described … and a rice cooker. My dad was Korean so we lived on rice growing up! I’ll often cook up rice and keep in fridge too for when I’m in a rush.
"...now, I finished the egg fried rice" *pets the cat* "...and now I show you how to prepare the cat" 😄
Sorry, just kidding, I couldn't resist!😄
the moment he called J.O poop i instantly liked its too funny
"Saw cat in thumbnail"
Take my subscribe
I love your intro. The music is epic
OMG I laughed so hard when I see your silent and perfectly synchronised (with Uncle Roger) "wha--" when Jamie OliveOil splash water in there lol, same incident occured in uncle Yuya reaction video XD
water will dilute the flavor. There's no flavor there anyways🤣🤣
My question is " chilli jam was made for what???? U gonna put on your bread for breakfast or what????"
And I love that cute little fur cat one
Chef Nguyen, thank you for telling us about Jamie’s restaurants. So many people regale him as a “ professional” chef, but his way of cooking is disgusting. It was a pleasure to watch you cook Japanese fried rice. I tried the just fresh rice and it just wasn’t the same 😂 so I continue to used cold rice 🍚.
Never ever used fresh cooked rice its going to be lumpy and wet..always used leftover rice (best) or put the fresh cooked rice in a container and put it in fridge (sligtly better than freshly cooked rice)..dont put it in a freezer..no frozen rice..if you are non veg used lard (pig fat) and if you are vegetarian used sesame oil or soyabean oil..(dont used canola oil or sunflower oil or else you wil have a very different taste than egg fried rice or any fried rice)...What Jamie Oliver did almost gave me a heartattack (am an avid lovers of Asian egg fried rice) and yeah dont put tofu in egg fried rice ...its egg fried rice not tofu and egg fried rice..
@@ateapachuau4009 yeah, no tofu for me in fried rice…EVER! I tried the fresh cooked rice 6 years ago when my husband wanted chicken fried rice but didn’t want to wait til the next day ( I always overnight my rice in the fridge). So I tried it and it was mush, nothing fried, the sesame oil just sat on the rice. He ate it but I refused to AND I COOKED IT! I told him never again will I do this. As a mostly black female, I was raised around the BEST Chinese food restaurants. For the first 10 years of life I only wanted fried rice, not my dads, though he was wok hay proficient, I was spoiled on true Chinese fried rice. The owner of my favorite restaurant told me the peas and carrots were added in for “ the white people”
I loved the review👌: subscribed.
You are based in Australia? It's your first video I have seen so I'm not familiar but I seem to detect Australian sounding vowels which sounded very different from the Asian accented English I come across here in Canada.
I used to study and work in Australia from 2006 to 2016, now i'm living in VietNam and opened 2 Japanese restaurants. Thanks for the subscribe .
you're the first vietnamese youtuber i subscribed... Hello from Malaysia
thanks alot, hope you have a nice safe day
Uncle Roger: roast Jam Olive
Eddie Nguyen: completely destroy Jam Olive
Hahaha lol 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
I saw people saying "Jamie Oliver is sh!t" in the comments. But when I saw it in the video I started laughing 😂 😂 😂 😂
Glad to see a chef disgusted by Jamie Oliver. I must agree
I could watch these reaction vids all day.
I love how he made a simple yet way better looking fried rice in 2 minutes at the end
OMG I ALSO HAVE TO POINT OUT THAT CAT IS SO BEAUTIFUL
"and this Jamie Oliver is Totally Fucked up man! He´s so Shit" Im laughing Way to much at this
Hahahaha this chef doesn't mince words.. 😂👍
"Jamie Oliver is shit"
--The sushi chef who my keyboard can't type (2020)
Garlic fried rice? oh that sounds liek HEAVEN!
Olive oil is good for mediteran dishes. What about Sunflower oil or Rapps Oil. Are those fine for Egg fried rice?
Check the smoke point. Egg Fried rice is made at very high heat.
If the oil can be used for high heat, then okay.. but if its not, then its not okay.. bcos fried rice is cooked on high heat
Is mustard oil good for egg fried rice?
@@prathamahajra8597 High smoking point, so it should be fine from that side. You'll have to tell us about taste though. It's banned in the US.
Sunflower Oil and Rapeseed (Canola) oil are fine for fried rice. These are some of your standard frying vegetable oils. I'd personally also be fine with rice bran, soybean, or peanut.
Im just watching this now and the "Jamie Oliver is Shit!" without even blinking!! hahaha GOLD!
