  • In this episode, the Republic of Singapore Navy’s RSS Supreme takes on the role of Sea Combat Commander, and directs eight other ships to carry out anti-surface and anti-submarine drills at the Rim of the Pacific (#RIMPAC) Exercise 2020, the world’s largest maritime warfare exercise.
See how the crew attempt to protect a high-value unit from a deadly “enemy” submarine and defend themselves against an incoming high-speed, sea-skimming target by firing the highly manoeuvrable and agile Aster surface-to-air missile.

What does the bade signify that the SLTC has ? The one with the gold parachute and 2 dolphins ?

idk about this case but apparently in america, you basically earn a dolphin on a sub if like you pass a test or something. they will test you on various aspects of the ship like how to operate this equipment or like where can you find xyz. might be different here doe.

The 2 dolphin badges suggests that he was probably a Submariner

He's a submariner. The one on his right side (coloured one) means he went overseas, probably sweden or something to take part in a course on submarine warfare etc. And apssed

Singapore may be small like a bee but it stings.

Bee stings are acidic so if applied alkaline it would neutralize the pain.

If dont shoot how u know if it works? All the while keep the asters in the launchers.
Is like having the island air defence all build up proper and tested running simulations but never conduct live tests/ firings.
Works in theory but seeing is believing afterall. Simulations may be better and accurate but at the end, the physical components the hardware has to prove its worth

Every firing is never a waste. Crews can fine tune and learn from the experience, may that in application or operation of it.
It also serves as a platform for understanding, realisation of shortcomings if any, and enhancing wherever possible.
