I remember clearly on early Century 21th this kind of "new metal bands" whit many arrangements but some bored ( perhaps after 2dn track) at the same time . Old man's point of view.
sadly a downfall from the awesome 1st album, this one felt so uninspired trying to add new elements but getting rid of the great atmosphere/themes of the 1st. very boring album with nearly nothing sticking out.

My favorite album
Quite different from the 1st full (I liked those kind of atmospheres) but this sounds solid and has good melodies and epic moments
Malice in Wonderland is more folk...this one is more gothic. I agree with you
