For this case, I’m using it casually as it has been a dream for me to enter into the anamorphic world as a filmmaker, after shooting on spherical for 10years. As for clients knowing the difference or not, I think it’s up to the cinematographer/director to decide and propose to clients. There are certain reasons for why anamorphic are chosen for certain projects such as, aspect ratio, background falloff, genre themed etc!
