I think your ending of "success, yes!" sums up the whole video nicely as well as any comments I could make. Good "kindling". Pop into a Games Workshop next, those guys are always up for a chat and actively seek one out. They also have painting and tutorial days. Making a VLOG about that would be really interesting. Anyway, great start mate. Take care.
Yes! I'm so proud. Highfive! -holds hand up to the screen awkwardly- Okay, virtual highfive! You walked a bit which is good for your health/exercise, you didn't panic when you went into the wrong place, you talked to people. All things that you probably wouldn't even think of doing a couple months ago. Progress!
It's great you're taking this into your own hands now! Just PLEASE make sure you continue to make videos updating us on your progress, because I'm sure reading through a bunch of supportive comments will help focus you and get you on the right track. It's great you're taking action!!
Also, you've done so well to get there for the first time on your own.. Talking to strangers terrifies me too, I'm fine if someone approaches me, but approaching people? LOL NOPE. Keep at it, it will get easier the more used to it you get. :3
Wot thanks so much.Great Vlog (it's good to see you "bouncy") I really wanted to see the youtube creators space and I think this gave me a genuine impression !
Wot! So happy to hear from you again and so great to hear that you are making progress in your goals :) You should really keep on trying to do this, you're a very nice and interesting person, and I'm sure there are a lot of people that will also like to "socialize" with you :D I also have that feeling of "being in the way" sometimes and wanting people to socialize with me rather than me with them, but it comes and goes. Hope that you could work on it and enjoy it also :) Great to see you Wot!
You absolutely should consider the day to be a success, Wot. For someone with social anxiety issues, the hardest part is taking that first step and putting yourself out there. It's hard to talk about this stuff without sounding all hokey and cliched but you really should be proud of yourself for taking those scary first few steps. And next time, it will be slightly easier.
Hi. I just saw you're video on depression, and it really helped me understand how and what I am suffering, and summed up very well what its like. So thank you, for helping people eith or without depression understand. I would have emailed you this, or mailed on twitter but you aren't following me back, obviously. So just, thank you. Wot, I know what you are going through...as an Aspie, I know how hard it is to be sociable...I try to be....I have conversations, and talk to people which I don't really know, and...it's kinda hard, because I'm there, I can fake being natural, but inside there is always a feeling of "what the hell am I doing? how should I act? Is it my time to say anything or can I stay quiet?" Just, keep going...you can do it...
Wot i know how you feel about trying to get talking to people i also have problems having a social life and making friends i wish i was as brave as you and actully get talking to people
