Every time I see this scene and the part where the baby (a combination of alien and human DNA) smacks off the queen aliens head it always reminds me that no matter how badass the alien is it's still no match for for the human race .. a species that always have and always will try to annihilate anything that comes within striking distance
Probably the reason why the Engineers wanted to destroy us. The only form more dangerous than humans was the Androids like David which is our own creation. The Mala'kak created the Engineers...who created us and we created the Androids.
Since he sees the Xenomorphs as Perfect, he could see it (and this is also my Personal thinking) as a New Step in Evolution, showing that Xenomorph can reproduce on their own without Eggs and Facehuggers. This would be truely the Perfect Life Form because the Newborn has in a way every Feature that the Xenomorph had Not. It can Show Emotion, Human understanding and even has a knowlege of how to Survive and be a Alpha. The other Xenomorphs didnt even Bother to attack it after it killed the Queen. Maybe out of Respect but my Personal thinking is that they left the Newborn Alone because the Xenomorphs were Scared of this Abomination, if it is capble of ripping Parts of the Queens head off then the Newborn is insanly Strong and would probably kill every other Xenomorph that would Come to close. So if we Look at everything, i think David would be proud that his Children truely became a Perfect Life Form
Good question. As much as I disliked Alien: Covenant for ruining Prometheus, what I did enjoy was David's work perfecting the xenomorphs, building upon what the Engineers started. I couldn't help but think of Alien: Resurrection while watching Covenant.
It's so freaking CUTE!!! I don't get why some people hate it but it's they're opinion and they can decide on if the newborn is Terrifying or not, it's still pretty cute!
The most smartest alien in all the franchise,, yes you might say the zenos are smart but they are more cunning, animalistic nature, yet the newborn showed signs of empathy, curiosity, compassion, I rekon the new born could of learned to take commands and bond with it's mother to run any mission the government wanted, they should of leaned into the new born for control rather than a full blooded zeno
The thing that always blows my mind is this came out in 1997, this has always felt like on the cheep horror reboots of the early to mid 2000s. Still loved it tho
In some ways Ripley 8 and the newborn are similar but opposite to one another. Where as Ripley 8 is cross alien but more human. The new born is more alien with human elements. Which is probably why it was drawn to her as its mother recognising they’re kind of half and half, but dominant to their biological lineage at the same time hence it’s clear natural instinct to kill despite being an infant and Ripley mainly killing the aliens still. This could have actually been more interesting if filmed from that aspect. But still I enjoy this film personally

The only thing I loved about alien three was the Xenomorph design
@@danielreed4164 3 definitely had difficulties. I am curious what it would have been without all the studio interference.
@@FatherFigure-itout it could have been a masterpiece. I would have said no to the cgi.
@@danielreed4164 agreed, but for the time it was made it wasn't bad. It just doesn't hold up well over the years.
I am curious about how the wooden planet would have look on screen
3:13 why is that sounds like my orange cat ? 😂
3:37 It's ironic that the Xeno born hybrid had more empathy for it's mother than the Human born hybrid did. I guess Ripley's quote to Burke about not seeing the Xenomorphs f**king each other over kind of holds true.
Can’t believe Romulus made another one (friggin epik)
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that the Newborn still looks better than the Romulus Offspring 😂
2:46 "NnnnnNOT THE MAMA!"
I never really understood the hate against Alien 4 resurrection like honestly this one was way better than the third one
Let’s be real that’s a cool design and it has a very iconic death
The best thing about this is that there's no graphics, only animatronics. So beautiful indeed. 🤩
Thanks!
Mothers, you can’t live with them and you can’t live without them.
cant unhear chucky
I have no idea how I just realised that was Brad Dourif 😂
such a weird idea for aliens... tho i kinda like it
I feel soo sorry for the Queen after going through hell in labor and die soon after 😢
I wonder how David would’ve felt about this.
Perfection.
Good question. As much as I disliked Alien: Covenant for ruining Prometheus, what I did enjoy was David's work perfecting the xenomorphs, building upon what the Engineers started. I couldn't help but think of Alien: Resurrection while watching Covenant.
freaks me the f*ck out.
I've always wondered how his adult form would have looked.
Queen size maybe?
The Queen went through all that agonising pain to get her face swiped off…it’s just so brutal! 😬👍
This movie was always my favorite of the Alien Franchise
This kid was so strong that she took off the head of the queen with just one strike 😮
Is it weird that I wanted to comfort The Queen while she gave birth?
I kinda felt bad for the alien queen. She went through all that just to have her face ripped off.
And why the normal alien does attack on the newborn
And that's why this world is screwed
U must be a Galgamac😅
@@muhdizaithe embryo belongs to the Ellen Ripleys clone...(The woman seen)
So for the baby ...that's his mother and not the Queen Alien
It's so freaking CUTE!!! I don't get why some people hate it but it's they're opinion and they can decide on if the newborn is Terrifying or not, it's still pretty cute!
He might be a big, slow newborn, but he beats everyone to the ship
You have to admire his scientific tenacity.
Imagine how the guy in real life felt having to be wrapped around in slime
Not them showing us the baby exiting the Xenoussy 😂😂
Oh my God... It looks so painful... And sad too. She didn't recognize her mommy...
The queen wasn't the mother though
@candaceseitz7689 the queen gave birth
0:26 yo whats up chucky
It’s almost like Ripley couldve kept the newborn and he would’ve acted on her commands
Love chucky being in this lmao
Casting Brad Dorif in this was genius
Yes! Love his character in this
I don’t think David’s plan with dr Shaw was this dramatic but oh well
Sigourney is like: “if you saw how much I got paid, you’d do it too”
I was honestly pissed that the queen was betrayed and killed by this abomination. I didn’t feel sorry for that abomination that died after.
That abomination only killed the queen cause he didn't recognise her has his mother newborn has way more human dna thant any other xeno
I feel the same way...and it was sad that its mother died such horrible death. Very sad to watch.
Yes. It was so disappointing. I was so hyped for the Queen and they did her so dirty.
The thing that always blows my mind is this came out in 1997, this has always felt like on the cheep horror reboots of the early to mid 2000s. Still loved it tho
Brad Dourif Was Great In This
I was looking for Chucky i heard Brads voice😂
This scene really messed me up as a kid
Most underated alien movie
In some ways Ripley 8 and the newborn are similar but opposite to one another. Where as Ripley 8 is cross alien but more human. The new born is more alien with human elements. Which is probably why it was drawn to her as its mother recognising they’re kind of half and half, but dominant to their biological lineage at the same time hence it’s clear natural instinct to kill despite being an infant and Ripley mainly killing the aliens still. This could have actually been more interesting if filmed from that aspect. But still I enjoy this film personally
Just came back from watching Romulius and this scene will never be the same again now that we got to see a newer more terrifying and horrific version of the newborn as the films final boss
