Your home is gorgeous!! Looks better than pottery barn. You are such an inspiration and I have started thrift g home decor because of you. I look forward to each and every video.
I loved everything you picked up. Great haul. If we are patient everything we lovecomes to us through thrifting for a small fraction of retail. Even retail on clearance is more expensive. IF I didn't tell anyone they would never know my high ende crystal, silver, marble, pewter, copper, brass, capiz and abalone shell, decanters , trays, lamps, baskets, candle holders, frames. Florals, high end china, comforters, throws, throw pillows, sconces, mirrors. Bar cart, slipper chairs. Consoles , bed, dressers. Side tables , night stands, oul and water color art in gorgeous frames, photo frames, China cabinet. Kitchen table, wreaths, coffee table books. Other books, bowls, vases/ urns/ pottery in stone, cement, marble, ceramic, crystal ..all thrifted. So fun to tell everyone though and see the shock ontheir faces and my bank balance. Lol
Awesome as always! I started thrifting to decorate my home about a year ago. My little sister got me into it. I love having unique items that no one else has. But you have to have “the eye” so it does’t look like your home is just full of random junk. You definitely have it! Looking forward to your next installment.
Thanks! And I see what you mean, using the decimal plus the ¢ mark...never really thought of that 😂 Guess other than these videos I'm not writing out amounts under a dollar often 😋
I always love your videos. The thing I like most is that you show us what you buy and what you going to do with it. So lovely thank you. Blessings and hugs from New Mexico
The wire candle holder can also be used as a base for the matching wire "bowl" to create a pedastle for displaying fruit, moss balls, Christmas ornaments, or whatever.
Yes!! I thought of that after I was already mostly done with making this video but they do work pretty well together that way. So nice to have options 😊
What can I say , I love all your videos ❤ here in the UK there's always been a bit of a stigma of using ( charity shops) as they're known here ,but videos like yours are definitely changing that ,so Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much. I actually used to work at a thrift shop from high school through most of my undergraduate college years, and occasionally we would have someone mentioned that they didn't feel comfortable shopping at our store because they thought It would take away from people who are struggling financially and could not afford to shop elsewhere. We would always tell them no, we need everyone to shop in our store because a lot of what we do is use the income from that to help in other ways.
Your living room is so gorgeous! I love where you put Theo amp it is perfect there! I loved that wired candle holder and the beautiful effect with the other candle inside it, lit up! I am definitely keeping my eye on the look for one like that!
I enjoy your videos, you do a great job making things look high end. On the sheets that you put on your daughters bed, it would look better and you could see the cute ruffle better if you put the printed side of the sheet down against the bed and then turned the sheet back over the bedspread so that the ruffle shows. My aunt always was very adamant about the sheets being printed side down and turned back, and I have had ruffled sheets before and that is what looks best.
I love that lamp and the books in dow bowl look great. I've done that but with a basket.... you can't go wrong with books. Oh and your girl's room looks so comfy!
Great stuff…. As soon as I finish shopping my house… I am going to venture out…way to use the vocabulary… I just started word of the day…. This is one of my knowledge based goals for 2024…. Will be watching more thanks for sharing 😊
Haha that's the hardest part! But one thing I love about shopping at thrift stores is that you walk in knowing that anything that you might happen to like in the store you can usually afford. Unlike other stores where you walk in and are surrounded with things you like, but can't afford (at least not all of it--or not while being financially responsible anyway!)
You are clever in your decor choices. You have a beautiful home because of your good taste and thrifty style. Continue to bringing us joy in watching you shine.
I absolutely love the small closet makeover! I have been loving baskets lately also. And....I love the Margo bag also. I am a fairly new subscriber, those use only my second video. Love everything so far!
You found some really nice pieces! The Hand and Harth pottery is a line sold in Target, very nice line. The coolest idea with the steamer, the flowers look beautiful! I actually have the same exact sheets on my bed but in blue, and queen size.. very nice😊 Love the lamp! Tip.. you can google lens any piece and it'll give you the name and or brand, where you can find it and cost or what its worth if its an older piece, very handy! Beautiful home, thanks for sharing😊
Thanks! The vase is actually Hand & Earth though. I thought the same thing at first though, it reminded me of Hearth & Hand! And thanks for the tip about Google image searches--I do that all the time but had no luck on the vase.🤔 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe I stopped scrolling right before a good match though. Wherever it's from it's pretty.
Hi, i just subscribed to your channel and i love listening to you and i love your style. Thankful I found you on UA-cam! You are amazing and have excellent "thrift store" findings and very tasteful. Donna
Love your design style. You are knowledgeable on design trends. There are so many UA-camrs who are focusing on their fashion trends more than interior design-their hair, nails, clothes, etc. Thanks.
Hi Tasha..I love what you bought and such good deals. You styled everything so well. I especially loved the old books in the bowl. My husband and I went to a four floor old house. Omg there was anything you coukd think of and the prices were ridiculously low. I forgot one of my bags so of course, we have tp go back tomorrow and I want to look some more😂. You have a beautiful home and my favorite thing was the print. Have you ever watched the movie about the lady who drew the designs. It was one of our favorite. Enjoy your thrifting!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! The sale you visited sounds like dreams I have... Thrift store full of things I love and everything's a dollar 🥰 😂 Thanks for watching!
Great idea to put the books in the wood bowl! Terra cotta is hard to find. It looks so nice with the stems. I would have grabbed that ❤ pillow too! I didn't think the black candle holder was anything special, but u are so right, when you put the glass candle in it, it's beautiful!
I would never think to steam silk flowers!! They looked so good after! I love your videos!! I wish I could go thrifting with you!! lol You have great second hand stores! I literally stopped what I was doing to watch your video....lol
The lamp that you didn't test at the thrift store didn't turn on the first time you clicked it but it turned on the second time you clicked it so I'm thinking that it is a tri-light bulb lamp. Try it out with a trilite bulb and you're probably going to see that it'll work
Probably so! I've had lamps like that before. I never bother getting the correct bulb haha, I'm an "on or off" person I guess, but I'm sure you're right 💯
I never thought to steam faux flowers! They definitely look better. I have been looking for a good steamer for clothes and I guess now flowers 😀 do you recommend the one you have for clothes?
Thanks! I can't find the one I have for sale anymore, but I linked to one in the description box since it has good reviews and has a 30% coupon right now. If I were shopping for a new one it's the one I'd personally probably try: amzn.to/3vZigC9
i guess its an american style to have a lot things in every surface. here in nordic we are more minimalistic, we dont need 5 vases in one room. but every video i watch on youtube seems like every american girl has same style, a lot of things, on every table and surface, many vases, fake flowers and just stuff. but i think the findings you found were cute. I just didn't think your home needet any more of things.
Love the books in the dough bowl!! Awesome idea for the roses, big difference.
Thank you!
Saving the planet 🌎 one thrifted item at a time 🦹♀️ way2go!
Thanks! I do often get the impression I'm "saving" items I bring home from the thrift shop and giving them a new life :)-
Your home is gorgeous!! Looks better than pottery barn. You are such an inspiration and I have started thrift g home decor because of you. I look forward to each and every video.
Yay! Thank you! Wishing you some great finds, and thanks so much for watching 😊

That's awesome! I think it's great fun too 😃 Thanks so much for watching!
The dough bowl with the books was such a cleaver idea ❤. Love the lamp on the table so much!
Thanks so much! 😊

Love the books in the dough bowl! What a good idea that looks really good. 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Wow, all great finds, but the mid sized iron lamp is stupendous!
Thank you! I love it ☺️
I love your style. You make everything work together. Also very talented.
You have a beautiful home! And your dupes, they are "just" as nice as from the more expensive stores! Just beautiful.
Oh thank you!
That iron lamp is grrreat! I love where you put it🤩
I am obsessed with everything you do. Binge watching all your episodes. You are so clever.
You're too kind! Thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate it!! 😊☺️
Love the lamp styled on that last table!
You have great taste and put your own spin on things. I appreciate the DIYs and tips like steaming the flowers.
Thanks so much! 😊
I've never seen a flower "fluff" before - what a great idea! (Just a super friendly thought... 0.49¢ means half a penny.)
Thanks! And I see what you mean, using the decimal plus the ¢ mark...never really thought of that 😂 Guess other than these videos I'm not writing out amounts under a dollar often 😋
Steaming the roses is such a great idea! Loved how you styled the lamp in the end! 😊
Thank you! 😊 I really appreciate it!
You have a stunning home. I’m very impressed with how you style it so beautifully with thrifted items. ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words ☺️
I always love your videos. The thing I like most is that you show us what you buy and what you going to do with it. So lovely thank you. Blessings and hugs from New Mexico
Hello, friend to the west 👋🏼 Thank you so much 😊
I think you just helped me save a wreath that got smashed in storage. I never thought to steam it. Thank you so much!😊
Oh yay I hope it works! Start slow just on the off chance it loosens any glue in your flower centers--but it should work great!
You have a good eye for thrifting 💜 the wire bowl and wire candle holder, terracotta vase and lamp I would have snatched as you did love your videos
Thanks very much! I was stoked to find the lamp especially ☺️
you inspire me! thank you for that!
Aww thank you! I'm glad to hear it 😊
Oh I loved your steaming trick for the roses...ypu improved them sooo much. 😊
Yes! Thank you!

Great haul. Love the books in the bowl & the lamp. ❤
Thank you! 🤗
Nice finds
Thank you!!
I just discovered your videos today. I love them.
So glad to have you, thanks for watching 😊
I admire your willpower to not buy things just because you love them. Even though you find the best stuff.
Haha that's the hardest part! But one thing I love about shopping at thrift stores is that you walk in knowing that anything that you might happen to like in the store you can usually afford. Great finds and styling! I actually have two tall wrought iron candle sticks that are very similar that I bought many years ago while thrifting!
Neat ☺️ Something about how hefty iron is always makes it feel "nice"

Your opening music is the same as a Korean cooking and lifestyle blog called Plan D.
Oh, fun! 😊 What are the chances you would watch both channels to realize that?
Ur home is SO well decorated, u have great taste. May i ask what is ur professional background?
Thank you so much! My background is actually in English/writing and my full time job is in book publishing ☺️

I do. Goodwill. Salvation. Army. Always. Dollar general😊
Isn't it fantastic to have a great find for cheap?! Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you so much for taking the time to look for the steamer and send a reply! I really appreciate it and will check out the one in your link 😊
Love your rug. Where from?
Thanks! This is the living room rug:

I can appreciate that. I watch some other folks videos and think ack, too much, take something away! So if you're used to less... I get it 😊
Did you say you got the ruffled sheet at the bins? If so where? I live near y😑 and didn’t know we have a bins. 😱
I just meant out of the linen bin/ table at the regular Goodwill!
Was that $60 for the diamond shaped side table?😮
I think so!
What area are all the thrift store you shop located?
I'm in Durham NC!
