Lampshade #2. I personally would paint the lamp a softer color for her room, cream/light beige. The black just looks more living room to me lol. I do creams/ pinks for a little girl ❤️

I agree. I also think the landscape art work also clashes with the lighthearted adorable rainbow on the wall. Both of them say adult living area. just too heavy. LOVE the nesting dolls!

Love your videos, I also thrift and would rather have Thrifted items as decor in my home, then almost anything I can buy at the store because it’s not only less expensive in most cases, but you have items that nobody else has. Yes, EVERYTHING was built well, and built to last! My refrigerator, washer and dryer all lasted more than 35 years! My best friend just bought a new, very expensive refrigerator, the ice maker didn’t work! And it’s taken nearly a year with numerous technician visits, and it still doesn’t work! Crazy! 🤪🤪🤪
Same with our dryer! The house we moved into came with a newer fancier dryer but is didn't last. We saved our "old" one and had it in the garage, so we brought it right in instead. New coat of rustoleum appliance spray epoxy to make it shiny and white again and it works great 🤷🏼♀️
@@TashaatHome We had a washer that my husbands mom and dad had. We used it til it rusted down. We got a nice matching set..all electronic. The washer broke down in no time and the service guy said the computer part would be so expensive that we should buy a new one…what we had to do.
The dresser is perfect for a little girl's room. Adding the pops of color to match the rainbow is such a sweet addition. I actually prefer shade #2 for the lamp.

Oh I love everything!!! I have my grandparents' dresser. It has the same scrolled bottom and I painted it cream. They've passed and it makes me think of them often.

Loved everything in this video. So talented. Note on the wicker basket. I watched a video from an IG influencer and her daughter was catching her hand on the wicker inside when getting cloths out. She slid a white pillowcase inside and had maybe two inches folded over the top and presto instant fix and so cute.

My husband used to play softball in Burlington write often! I've seen those wall ladles in furniture stores with florals hanging out of them, haven't actually seen one in anyone's home. I used to frequent the Habit Restore in Greenville, NC whenever I was there. I thought it was THEE BEST. If you have never been, give it a visit sometime. It is big and meticulously organized.

The dresser turned out so well. Love the accent colors on the interior of the drawers. you did such a nice job. You should consider cutting away the curved detail on the skirt of the dresser and straightening the lines. It's the only thing that identifies it as an older piece. Love the nesting dolls!

I have a dresser in my bedroom that I will be painting soon {when the weather warms up}, I have had this dresser for about 25 - 30 years ... my mama gave it to me when I moved near her. That dresser looks amazing! I’m glad to know your process. I did one for my closet a white chest of drawers kinda by the seat of my pants. I overloaded myself with looking up how 😊 tos . It did take sometime as well. Thous slide knobs are genius I will be saving them! I had trouble too who woulda though until they did it. But I bought all new knobs. It looks good but I love the slide handle idea. Tks for sharing. I do enjoy watching.

We lived in downtown Mebane for a while, and I pop back over every couple months to thrift shop ☺️ I stopped by Fifth Street books on my way through but unfortunately they were closed due to a family emergency. If you haven't been in there, that's an excellent place to get books for extremely cheap!
