- So I recently got married and decided to create my own wedding film using only the Pixel 7 Pro! I passed my phone around during the wedding and asked guests to take random clips for me. This was just a fun experiment to create a more raw and authentic highlight video instead of the typical overly produced video you get from a videographer.

Bro, can you tell me why pixel 7 is shooting in 12mp even though in paper sheet it is 50mp?

First and foremost, congratulation for your marriage, Alex! 🥂🎉 In terms of video quality, iPhone is surely the best in class, but surely Pixel improved with this last iteration of the phone. There are still flaws, for example, if you use the live background blur mode, it's a hit and miss, depending on how many subjects are on the scene. Still photography is much better on the Pixel 7 pro. It's not the best cameraphone, but considering also it's price, way lower than Apple and Samsung, it's among the best cameraphones, Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Vivo X80 Pro included.

Awesome work man. I was just searching for some example Pixel 7 Pro video and this was well constructed. It definitely could've come across as cheesy pretty easily, but it didn't. I'm not so much the romantic type, but this was enjoyable. Hope for the best for you both. Looks like an awesome, perfectly sized wedding at a cool venue too.

Dosnt pixel 7 pro shoot in 4k 10bit video . Idk what limitation exactly people are talking about thats more than enough to make a good video. Idk about not having manual controls or nd filters.

When people are moving, does it come out blurred? or stable? Are you able to zoom in and out quickly or do you have to take two pictures. Can you do panoramic pictures? That was an unique place to have a wedding, nice atmosphere. Congrats to you and Sally.

Beautiful wedding. Great video! I, too, found that the biggest flaw of the 7 Pro's video is the noise problem. Plus I have noticed that some lower-light situations cause shadows to have a green tint sometimes. I might switch back to the iphone 14 pro.

I feel like pictures are mostly under-exposed by Google. I'm using the pixel 7 Pro and most of the time pictures are darker
