We don’t just need a striker, we need a fit Thomas Partey and a more mobile midfielder instead of Havertz who slows down the play, we need an actual competitor for Saka on that right side and what we all need is patience and to humble ourselves as fans.
We do need a striker we don’t have anyone clinical we don’t miss 60+ chances because of a less mobile midfield

Get Gimenez, he instantly becomes our most clinical player, has a lot of what we’re looking for in terms of link up play & physicality as well, and he reportedly has a £35m release clause, get him & worst case scenario we get another striker in the summer & have Gimenez play as the backup striker, Nketiah out & Jesus to the wing, simple

Dominic Solanke, Serhou Guirassy or Lois Openda. Much cheaper options compared to Toney and they're very clinical finisher.

Surprised no one mentions Gyokeres serious player
Openda and Gyokeres have both recently moved for decent figures. Guirassy is in the form of his life so you'll be paying over the odds for someone who may revert to the mean of a dead average player. Solanke is English and the 3rd top scorer, he's being quoted high enough that Newcastle can't afford him, and he's playing for a team that could still go down, especially if they sell him, he won't be cheap.
They're all definitely cheaper than Osimhen, Toney, and Isak. But they'll be hard to sign in January

But given the age, I believe Arteta wanted someone around the same age as the squad to grow with the squad IMO.
Havertz could develop but he seems like one of those players who will just want to play with little energy and hopes it works out.
I feel like they could get a proper left back like Robinson from Fulham and play Zinchenko at LCM. I feel like with his ability on the ball, he can easily adapt to the position because after all, he spends a lot of time in that position and he can't defend that well anyways.
Amount of chances we had against Liverpool. We need the front 5 scoring - we need an 8 making late runs in the box & we need a strong back up for Saka with pace

Liverpool don’t need cover for Trent. Gomez has looked incredible lately at LB lately and even Szoboszlai can play in that role if need be. There was a game recently (I think it was Arsenal) where he was basically playing as a RB on defence, and nobody got close to getting past him.
If Gomez gets injured Liverpool are in trouble.more than any other Liverpool player😊

A center back would be great, gomez covers RB and CB.
The new CF doesn't have to always score in every match, but he must create various chances for his teammates with his hold-up play and aerial/ ground flicks. Vlahovic seems ideal for that purpose, but Arsenal can only loan a CF if they can't ship Nketiah out. Maybe Benjamin Sesko can be loaned

We are fine at RB without TAA. Bradley looks very good (yes he’s young and no a lot of experience) Robbo is back soon so Gomez who has looked brilliant can move to RB as well. If anything we need another winger while Salah is out. Specifically a left footed on or even a left footed CB.

I don't think it would be wise for Liverpool to break their wage structure for Mbappe. You can't just assume other players at the club will be okay with it. Even if they don't want Mbappe wages (which could approach a mil a week), they might still want 250-300k. It can very quickly spiral out of control. Just look at united with Alexis Sanchez. De Gea was well within his rights to demand 400k when that flop was doing a fraction of what he did for the club and earning more than that.
They need more than a striker they also need a decent CM to play along side Rice also they need a good LB and RB

Toney is quite complete and great at linking up play and dominating the box.
Osimhen is an average finisher (or just above average)
Zirzkee is probably most complete of the 4 but still needs to work on his finishing (not the same profile but reminds me of Darwin; creates chances for himself but isnt clinical)

Arsenal should go for Vlahovic, Giminez or try getting Benzema on loan till end of season. Toney is 28 and not worth £100m, Zikerzee is more of an attacking mid and Mayoral is trash.
Drop Odegaard into midfield, Drop Jesus into CAM and have Nketiah upfront.
I know Arteta is not Guardiola level but City won Champions League without a striker so instead of signing a striker Saka , Martinelli , Trossard , Jesus can step up and bring in the goals.

Arsenal expect all their goals to come from their striker. While Liverpool have moved away from that this season and focused on scoring goals from different positions. Their midfield rebuild was based on that, Macca, Ryan and especially Dom are all creative mids that can score goals. That’s what they’ve been lacking previous seasons, all their goals came from their front 3 but they realised you’re more dangerous and unpredictable when you can score from various positions. Arsenal hasn’t yet, they blame their Striker but Martinelli, Odegaard and Havertz aren’t scoring the goals either

We had the biggest spread of goals last season and thats obviously what we want to have. Saks nelli øde and Jesus all had over 10 goals. We need a striker so we can keep our spread of goals but have someone clinical unlike jesus

*Arsenal Dont need a Striker Because we already have a good enough centre forward.* Arsenal's isn't having a problem upfront because somehow our strikers are getting loads of chances in front of goal but are fluffing their lines. They just aren't getting service. Any new striker who comes in will face similar frustrations.
Our style of play is not conducive for a target man. There is a reason most of Saka's goals last season were assisted by Martinelli and vice versa. When these boys cut in, they drift into the edge of the area and then have an option to either shoot or make a far post cross to the other wide attacker, not to pass to a targetman.
