James Alcott is the best football content creator out there, don’t know how he’s not got a full time gig on Sky by now. Actually watches all the games including Championship and foreign leagues unlike most.

I’ve never understood how people can say they would never take a rival player at their club. Look at the Sol Campbell situation, Arsenal fans love him so much because he left Spurs for us. If Saka or Saliba went to Spurs, us Arsenal fans would all absolutely lose our minds

Frenkie de Jong is heavily underrated, barely gets a shout here. He is easily one of the best midfielders in the world, in my opinion. Apart from that, and maybe Leao over Rice, great list this.

I would say that Vinicius and haaland is a debate but haaland does have the advantage in numbers but i think vinicius delivers almost everytime and is spectacular for the madrid side especially in the win of the CL

one thing i’ve noticed, James is the only guest who is not lazy to put the cards properly on the board, he does it very neatly and tidily, good bloke. I’ve seen other guests putting cards on board and they’ve been terrible at it.

I’m really happy Sky is making these UA-cam style videos now, great initiative from them to get UA-camrs/Sports journalists involved in their Saturday Socials.
Dejong is a rare breed u can watch him play for hours and wont get bored he plays out from the back and creates chances can even play as ball playing centre back and is World class despite playing in a system that doesn't fully utilise his abilities, him with a big ball winner like casemiro where he doesn't have to work his legs off all the time would be deadly
I think Salah and Allison is a debate to be had i think replace Allison with any other goalkeeper and they probably wouldnt have won anything in the last 5 years i think hes the most on aor with salah as the msot crucial players in the Liverpool team and with Attacking fullbacks like trent,robbo he was always there and always deluvered

Absolutely top tier, but Ronald araujo should’ve been in the conversation, Declan and Araujo should’ve been a debate. He’s easily one of the best defenders in the world, probably the best in 1v1 situation with Kyle walker.
I’m sorry but Musiala is a better player than Bellingham. I know Bellingham has hit the ground running at Madrid but if you watch both players it’s Musiala is got so much more ability

Bellingham might have more headline moments because he’s scoring goals but when you watch both players, it’s clear to see who the better player is. Scoring goals is obv not something to downplay and FairPlay to Bellingham but you can just look at goals and say he’s better because on Flashscore it says he’s on the scoresheet

Rodrygo instead of saka and the list is much better
It’s about 50 50 I’d say. If rodrygo was the main man of arsenal his stats wld be as good as sakes were last season and as good as him in stats this season but their performances are very similar standard.
Nah saka would be struggling to get in that RM team with brahim diaz (let alone Rodrygo) meanwhile Rodrygo would comfortably get in that arsenal team especially now

Great list. Does feel like football has fallen off/become less 'fun' when you see it though. Would be interesting to do a similar list like this but at a certain point in time (e.g. 2006, 2010). My assumption would be there might be more vibes and diversity of league's than this one

Great list. My only replacement would be Rodrygo over Saka. His versatility, clutch factor in big moments, and skill is beyond Saka. Close but Rodrygo is the better player, in my opinion.

Saka has 14 games and 11 assists last season in the premier league.
Rodrygo has 9 and 7. Even this season Saka hasn't hit form and still has a better G/A than the Brazilian. So I don't know what ball knowledge is missing here.
Saka is consistently making things happen and he is always available .

Honestly I reckon Vini JR > Haaland for the 23 category. I understand what Haaland is and the output but Vini the the ultimate big game player. Bellingham will win the ballon d`or next simply due to playing for Real Madrid, ballon d`or voters have a huge historical biase towards FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, while i think Bellingham should win it, i think Haaland, Salah, Griezmann, Harry Kane have all been better then him, but none of them play for Real Madrid so none of them will win it ahead of Bellingham.
