Great harsher and longer sentences will only make criminals more desperate to not get get caught. Study shows in states with the death penalty felons commiting capital felonies will go down fighting and take whoever with them. But mean while in Denmark with rehabilitate laws criminals will get arrested quietly because they know they have another chance at freedom.

If they would have been smarter about how they blocked him in (one touching his front bumper and another on the rear bumper) they could have stopped him from driving off. They gave him way too much space to maneuver out of there

Those are some nice expensive vehicles. They should get some crappy ones and just crash into the car lol. But the police have to play by rules that makes it harder on them to do their jobs.

Officers didn’t purposely kill him. They attempted to “stop” the suspect using equal and necessary force. Unfortunately the suspect didn’t survive.
They shouldn't be able to do that to people they did that to me and I let loose and got my attempt murder dropped and did 5 for shooting two other people

Complete mess. Why would you let the vehicle have enough room to leave if you're pulling up on someone? The tackle worked but it just seemed like only those 2 officers that did the tackle, knew what the mission was....... everyone else clueless for a second
seems like they did not want to 'spook' michael and that pinoy guy to quick but the pinoy guy pumping the gas caught the hint fast....

except for the ucpo with the shotgun, nobody really fired at the suspects because they knew they are dealing with GAS....any small spark or ricochet will light up the station!!!

@@matthoward598 She went over to their side after he yelled out to her. It looks like they never pumped gas in their lives lol. Plus, she was already done by the time they started pumping which would mean she was already there before they pulled up.
They switched the pumps around so once she paid it activated their pump not hers she either with the police or was just aware of her surroundings I think she was with the cops tho

Attempted the arrest while the lady was trying to get gas. Could have gotten her killed. Didn't even block the suspect's car in and they drove away. This shows how inexperienced, untrained and unled the officers are. Good luck, Hawaii.

Ok so if you watch closely it can be hard to mis the officer jumps onto the car fire into the car and then the car tries to speed off after which they fire again into the car he hits the cop car and drives off I assume to die

so hpd cru's was staking them out already then....btw, fy-guys info, HPD SSD team does not drive sedans or toyota suvs.....some of them drive pickup trucks (chevys and fords) and use them as subsidized pd vehicles.....I seen when a SSD/swat team was requested, they had sirens blaring and on the top front windshield and rear windows, their blue lights were blinking!!! So dont road rage or piss off a truck driver next to you......it could be a HPD po...

Sorry but this was so dumb, guns near Gas pumping stations...Thier lucky they never shot a hole into something and the whole place blew up...it's GAS!! It's explosive and highly dangerous. It's in a public area 🙄 You could have easily shot innocent pedestrians and killed them. Could they not have had a stake out at his house or stay of residence? Usually they have eyes in the sky via helicopter 🚁 and swat teams surrounding the home with thier canines ready to go if he decides to run and escape. My dad was hpd and this was just sad. Glad they caught the guy tho. Oahu is crazy. Kapolei isn't what it used to be....smh. be safe guys 🙏😪🤙

Just say its the shell gas station near Jack in the cracks! Jeez, its not like we can figure the location. Kapolei is getting worse with crime, smash -n- grabs happening all the time now. After 10PM be careful! Carry a knife or mini bat for protection. A lot of the homeless here cannot speak English, they are coming from Guatemala, Columbia, Venezuela, etc. Being flown here from da mainland. Hawaii has become a lottery ticket for them.
