Thank you, Josh, for this video and your comments on apologetics. I thought your questions were excellent...can you prove i did/didn't write the script for this video? Can you prove the Bible? A few years ago, my now 23 year old grandson and i were talking about Heaven and Hell, and he said that there aren't such places. When you die, that's it. Your body just rots in the grave. Without going into our interesting "debate" he made a comment that he only believes in things he can see. So i began asking him if he believes in the wind or the oxygen you breathe or dinosaurs and other questions. His answer was yes. I said, but you can't see them (yes, the wind if blowing, but not the actual wind) so why do you believe in them? His reply was because he just knew. He could feel the wind. He could breathe the oxygen. He read about dinosaurs. So i then said, you believe in things you can't actually see, so why not the Bible? Just look around and you see God's creations. I dont need to see everything because i believe in the Bible....the story of the Creation, the flood, Jesus's birth, crucifixion, and resurrection, Daniel in the lions den, or angels. So many things. When we were done, i didn't apologize for my beliefs. I told him to pray and ask for answers to his doubts. Has he? I honestly can't say. Thank you, again, Josh. I'm not sure my comments make sense (im 74 and not very good at putting my thoughts into words), so i do apologize if they don't. Please keep up videos such as this one. If i hear scripture, i mark where in the Bible it is found, i highlight it, then i write comments to help me remember the "why".
What a great story. Sometimes all we need to do is plant the seed, water it with love, and watch god grow it in others. Continue to pray and watch god work. Thanks for sharing!
Here’s what I find troubling: You hold a belief without knowing why, and instead of seeking evidence to confirm that belief, you focus on defending it through apologetics. Does truth matter to you? Is this simply about protecting the beliefs of your group? Think about the harm you could be doing if you promote beliefs that are not true.
These are great questions! And good points. Apologetics is about showing the truth and defending it. Not all about defending like some do. Would love to discuss it more. Send me an email!

My question, which I believe is shared by many, is this: Have you personally experienced the Christian God? If so, how did you determine it was indeed the Christian God?

@@JohnSpencer90 Im with you, email was just to get some contact info, would love to talk and maybe get a discussion on the channel. See what happens. To your question: Ive only had maybe 1-2 what I would consider "supernatural" experiences. Did I know it was the Christian God. I'll stay consistent and tell you I can't prove to you that it was the christian God, but through descerntment and study it seems to be the most reasonable explanation. Would love to talk more.
