Ampeg Jet 2 J-12T Reissue

all Tube, 2x EL84, 2x ECC 83, Tremolo (works really fine), Reverb (up to 4 its just fine), 15 Watts
Guitar: Fender Squier, MIJ, 1985, pickups: Fender Texas Special Costum shop, Strings: D'addario (11)
without any effects, volume at 2 (more wasn't possible because of the naighbours )
the crizzly tone came from the webcam recording! is not caused of the amp!

I can't believe that such as respected and saught-after amp was made so CHEAPLY. I have one that needed a repair (resolder the input jack - typical and simple repair for this model) and I changed the tubes too and immediately noticed how THIN the board is. I am talking a paper thin board that can easily break and good luck finding a replacement. I still love it though. Sings like an angel !!

For made in usa huh? I wiggle and hold when I swap out the tubes as I can see the board snapping

All on 11 and then reduce the bass to 7 and, OFF WE GO !
That's with my gibson SG 1976.

What brand of tubes are in the amp? Mullards? JJ's? Heard the 12AT7's are less distorted than the 12AX7's. I just won a J12t off eBay for $249! It's not as smooth as this. More like Lynyrd Skynyrd sounding which is okay but I wanted more bluesy s m o o t h tones like this. Another one is on eBay now in better shape for the same $249. Get while U can.
