I live in Nairobi Kenya and I can tell you for a fact that I am moving upcountry to do farming and horticulture and start an eco-village that feeds over 100 people daily and bring along a community that is self-sustainable.
I would love to see your design for this. I have been thinking about this for awhile now. And this is the idea I believe is necessary to prove 1) all people can be fed easily 2) help create a working model of a new society that needs to take place so the people will stop participating in the old paradigm society which creates suffering and inequality. I would love to connect with you and collaborate.
100% me too. Deborah seems very knowledgeable in more than plants. I enjoy the way she describes shapes among other things, very fascinating person indeed :D
This is the teacher I've been looking for. Deborah Coulson. I intend to follow more of your work and learn all that I can from you. SO GLAD this was recommended. Finally, youtube is starting to understand me better.
I absolutely love her garden. She feels like family. And I love how she just tells it how it is. 💚 sending love from our Small Urban homestead in South Africa 🇿🇦
Glad you enjoyed it Drone footage wasn't done by me (don't have a drone yet) but got permission to use it from Deborah. Really helps with getting a good perspective!
That's exactly what I'm trying to do in my backyard. I have about 80 plants for tea and culinary purposes. I have no interest in plants I can't eat. I only wish I have that kind of space.
This is what I’m aiming for, I’ll know I have arrived when I get here! And by here, I don’t mean her garden/space but her soul/aura. I have always believed I was a herbalist in a previous life lol; her garden is dreams, and her knowledge of plants invaluable 🤩
I think so too! Really happy that so many people are watching this video right now, getting a glimpse into the great work Deborah is doing with the garden.
Wow! Great video! I love ur channel and all the people you feature! Ur videos are so inspiring and interesting, thanks for making such uplifting content!🙏🏻
My garden and orchard occupies 3/4 of the land mass of my house and the pleasure of seeing such abundance of vegetation and its productive capacities is inestimable , overwhelming and soothing to my mind. Well done Ma.
This is so inspiring! I'm excited to be doing something similar using sacred geometry and veggies and medicinals and hands-on education! Fantastic to see!!!
I really love your beautiful herbal garden!!!!! It's really beautiful design of your garden. It's very artistic and the dream work, seriously. The knowledge is so precious for the people, I hope you continue your work in getting to know the nature and to understand on how we can cure ourselves from various diseases. Thank you. 😍❤ Vielen Dank für Ihre Upload Video.
Angel how awesome that your journey has shifted into the spiritual and healing realms.im a practising herbalist and in deep gratitude for Great Spirits gifts for our healing.
@@GrowingSmall yes but gardening is healthy an creative. I can only imagine how special it must be to grow up in a garden like this and where you can also reside when you dont feel that good and let plants energize you.
Thank you Herbert for taking the time to comment. Let me know if you'd be interested in doing a tour of Brackenhurst to showcase your important work there!
I have been taking ashwagandha in capsules for a few months and it is something wonderful, not only does it adapt you with the mind, but it works excellently in your whole body. I love this plant.
Nature has proven time and time again, through the staunch abundance of certain plants, how beneficial and health promoting they are and have been for millennia. It’s only modern man who has been brainwashed into believing they are useless weeds and must be irradiated by any means possible possible….usually toxically. This brain washing has resulted in disease and disfunction not to mention the herbicide of important healing plant life. Your gardens are an inspiration.
Gorgeous garden! 💖💖💖 I love that you appreciate the many plants that others consider weeds I think that is one of the most important lessons that we can all learn is that every plant has qualities and once you learn them you can appreciate the plant! Great great great joy from your garden and this video 🎉🕊🌏🍀💐
Many of the medicinal plants grow wild here, they just sprout from the earth, and we have to keep pruning them especially ashwagandha. I am inspired by Deborah's garden and I want to have a medicinal garden of my own because my sister practices a lot of natural healing, making oils and all sorts of other things. I love to work with plants via the kitchen mostly. I like this video a lot but I will have to go with what my situation permits me, in terms of topography and what would survive here in Northern India.

That's awesome. 80 different plants is quite a lot, really impressive.
Could you recommend any books or sites for making tea from plants?
Same here. I now walk outside and proclaim, "Look what I found in my back yard!" Many medicinal plants in my own back yard!!!
U can try guerrilla gardening especially if ur pretty rural, lots of free space and few/no people
80% of all medicinal plants are weeds
most are considered noxious by the powersthat be
