I was one of the early adopters of Nomad Sculpt but I stopped using it for a long time now and I only paint on my iPad. But you and your calm, methodical process makes me want to come back to it. Especially because until I see your work I was skeptical that such smooth and cartoony sculpts - which I also prefer - are achieavable with it. I also love the toys you produce. Great progress with 3D printing in such a short time. So I love your channel and I only have one constructive feedback: please invest in a decent microphone :)
Thank you, Dave, for another helpful tutorial. I wonder how you can manage all your creations without losing the general symmetry. When I try to create a complex creature, the symmetry always slipped a little bit and I don't know how to fix it.
Does not joining instances mean that if you export the whole Dino, the spikes will not be connected to the Dino? Like you could still click on them as separate shape to color?
Join children creates one new mesh (even if they aren’t touching) instance created separate pieces that all act the same. Un-instance creates separate pieces that have nothing to do with each other! 👍🏾
For the instances, you have to change the target to Vertex, then the Gizmo also works for ALL instances. But you have to validate.
Your's is the best nomad sculpt tutorial channels there is😊
Wow, thank you! 🙌🏾💯🤩
@@drugfreedave Thanks to you too for wonderful tutorials😊

Woah
I really struggle with the whole “join children”, “un-instance” thing. Do you have a video that explains those? Thank you Dave.
