i have a 2015 tlx, i was wondering what exhaust mods id need to do to first get the popout exhausts and then also be louder, not as loud as this but moderatley loud
With the resonator and muffler gone, do you notice any changes with the car? For example, gas pedal feels like there's no back pressure, gas consumption has gone up, car seems to be a bit sluggish. Any noticeable change that you might think that it has affected the vehicle?
If you have the 3.5 an delete the 4 resonators an both mufflers then do 2.5” straight pipe from the cat back an put just non baffled exhaust tips on yes it will same identical
So right after the cat I did 2.5” stainless steel pipe all the way to back of bumper an have 2 dual tip stainless steel tips welded on. I have all 4 resonators taken out along with the 2 mufflers. I have no tune or a tuner on my car. Just intake the throttle body spacer an custom exhaust
I had a shop take the factory exhaust piping off an make his own an take the factory resonators off an the factory mufflers off N he welded 2 dual tips on an cut my bumper out so they fit nicely

I have the takeda intake, you don’t really want a cai cuz if it goes really far down like to the front bumper or inner wheel well area you can hydro lock your engine if you suck up a decent amount of water, just say if you have your car lowered an it’s raining really bad an your driving an the water is fairly high you will suck up water and then your pretty much fucked.
It’s depends what the garage wants to charge you, I paid $700 for all stainless steel exhaust pipe an tips plus he cut my bumper to fit the exhaust tips. He did 2.5” from cat back.

I’m not sure but I’d start with deleting the mufflers first,
Muffler delete and 2 res deletes will give you sound and pops
@@willtimberlake1650I noticed there is like 5 resonators in my tlx 2 on each exhaust and then 1 where they both connect. Which one did you delete

Nope nothing what so ever, there is no gain or loss in performance.

They are eibach sport lowering springs pro-kit. They are dual rate coil. 1.5” front 1.3” rear
