This series was inspired by channels @Historia Civilis and @Montemayor .
This series is based on Peter Cozzens' book: Shenandoah 1862: Stonewall Jackson’s Valley Campaign - www.amazon.com/Shenandoah-186...
*****
Second part of a series on Stonewall Jackson's Valley Campaign of 1862.
This part covers the end of the inconclusive Romney Campaign and the beginning of the Valley Campaign proper with the Union offensive.
Its little wonder Jackson was secretive about his plans every time he held a council of war his officers would screw it up.
Looking forward to part 3
NO KIDDING!!! Just look aat Antietam som DUMBSH-T wrapped his cigars in the orders and lost them hell who knows what would have happened if that didnt happen!!!
I liked that looking forward to more!
Well done and looking forward to more
Hey stuff writer, are you doing ok? Haven't seen much, I figure it's because of Covid, but wanted to make sure you and Mr Atkinson were doing alright
Fantastic channel hidden gem
Looking forward for part 3 . I like your sense of detail, it's very informative.
I like
Jackson had a council of war that didn't go well, he said "that's the last time I have a council of war!"
Stuffwriter, you're no Matt Atkinson, but you are still very good!
I get an advert approximately every three minutes. Is UA-cam doing this against your will?
Your silence is deafening.
Great stuff, can't wait for part 3.
Take it from a staunton native its pronounced STAN TON.
Its pronounced "Ca- K- Pun"
the background score is Terrible! No music would be better than learning about this campaign in an elevator.
Sorry....I Really enjoyed both part One and Two of your content, thanks for uploading.
Well done and informative. Funny/sarcastic remarks are okay to a point, but don't overdo it. Also, recommend just moving the formation blocks from point to point when marching--brigades wriggling as they follow the bends of roads gets silly after a while.
You could always make your own videos since you're such an expert.
