Just a heads up everyone.
It is that time of year where everything happens at once!
I may be unable to comment over the next few days. However, I have my helper uploading content so videos will keep flowing daily.
Have a great one!

Kid is a natural on you tube!!! Wow I am now looking at Honda outdoor power tools!
yup, he is good at a lot of things!
Fantastic video! First time tuning in. Came for the VersAttach, but stayed captivated by the wonderful father and son team. Truly heartwarming!
Awesome! Thank you!
Good to see both sides of your life, your dad and here your son. Thanks - Bob in Nevada
Thanks Bob!
Your son is so "you." I can hear you in his voice, vocabulary, and mannerisms. You and you wife have raised a fine young man. He is so smooth, he could be in sales (this is a complement). Thanks for sharing him with us. Have fun hunting!!!
Thanks Karen, he is a fine young man for sure, all 3 of my kids are great !
You are getting quite an enterprise going! An editor ,camera person and EPA compliance rep on the payroll!😉😊. Looks like your son has your sense of humor! Cool guest spot/ product test!
Thanks Jeff!
I bought the same Honda power unit a few years back with hedge trimmer and also garden tiller both work well.I found that the unit was heavy also glad I’m not the woos I thought I was.Nice to meet your son seems like a bright young man. Bob P
Thanks Bob!
Superfund Site!🤣. Thank You Bryce for a great demonstration. It was definitely a treat having you in the Woodyard! I truly enjoyed the way Both Father and Son were so comfortable poking fun at one another!
Well Bryce, it’s probably a good thing the longer extension was back ordered. Otherwise you know who would have attempted to coerce you into breaking the rules so clearly established in the manual!
Bless’ns to the both of you, Tedd
You bet I would have!
Morning Chris and Bryce. Great demonstration of the Honda with attachments. This video will probably sell a few of these units. Stay safe!🪵
Ha! Maybe so!
Great to see Father and son working together in the woodyard. Have a Safe Day
Thanks David!
Good morning Chris, Fine young man, that’s a top-notch piece of equipment, thanks for the video
Thanks Mike, I am very proud of him!
Reading instructions, wiping down the spilled oil to show room specs... the boy turned himself into a city slicker! His actions reminded me of my uncle who would do the exact same thing. For me, a touch of oil and sawdust on it just shows you use it and if folks don't like it, they don't have to look at it. Don't feel bad Chris, I type the same way.
I wish I was a bit more tidy with my equipment!
Chris your son is awesome, he looks and sounds just like you!! I lost my Dad a year ago and I love seeing videos of family doing stuff together. Hope you had some luck on your hunting trip, we got my sister a small bull elk today!
Thanks Kelly, we all got deer , it was fun, you will see it soon!
@@InTheWoodyard Can't wait, we got my sister her first Bull Elk!!
I have been using my Leaf Blower for years to clean out my gutter. I made a 90* elbow with a small opening to blow the leaf's out of my gutters. My wife yells at me too for being on the roof. Great Job Guys.
thanks Stanley!
"Way better than an echo"
Fighting words, Chris! The echo srm and pas systems are bulletproof workhorses
HA! Echo does make some great stuff, I would love to run more of their saws!
Good video. You're well spoken Bryce. 👍
Thanks Christopher!
Your son has made a good purchase and well explained
Yes, I agree!
It was nice meeting you Bryce. Wow! I didn't know Honda made those type of tools. I didn't see your dad (Chris) return your powerhead at the end of the video, so you still might have to travel 🚙 to borrow it lol. You guys feed off each other well. Have a good one!
Thanks Shannon, he did take it back home!
Nice to see Bryce in the woodyard! Another fine Honda product! The blower worked surprisingly well. System did look a little heavy though. Thanks for sharing. GNI
Thanks Todd!
Wonderful video. I laughed all the way through. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was wandering for a bit if Chris was
just going to keep walking in the woods till he got to the airport. Cut cut cut lol
Chris was wandering. I think you were wondering. Lol.
YES!
Maybe so!
That was a great video Chris, I really enjoyed it! Thanks Guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This a great video good morning from Grand Forks to both of you
Thanks Dean!
Superfund Site!🤣. Bryce, thank You for such a detailed demonstration of your new system. It was definitely a treat to see you in The Woodyard.
I truly enjoyed the way both Father and Son were so comfortable poking fun at one another! Well Bryce, be grateful the longer extension is on back order. Otherwise you know who would have coerced you into connecting both extensions😬thereby breaking one of many cardinal rules stated do clearly in the operator’s manual!
Bless’ns to the both of ya’s, Tedd
Saw surgeon, I bet the EPA would like to talk to you about your work bench too. 🤔
@@andystampfli9127 🤫😉🤣
HA! You know me to well Tedd, I would have done that!
HA!
That tool is cool! I was debating on buying the one stihl offers. I think the biggest benefit of this one over stihl is the 4 stroke motor! May have to go try one out before I pull the trigger! Great vid Chris! Thanks again!
Cool, let me know is you do, I would like your impression.
That was one of the most enjoyable videos I’ve ever seen on UA-cam.
I have a Honda UMK35 line trimmer. You’ve sold me on the pruner and hedge trimmer attachments. I was going to purchase the Honda HHH25D hedge trimmer but the trimmer attachment can reach higher areas than the dedicated hedge trimmer. And the pruner with the extension worked wonderfully well also. No need for dangerous ladder climbing.
Fantastic video. Well done.
Thanks so much Andre, there is another 700+ videos on my channel waiting for you to watch!
@@InTheWoodyard Make a video on the Honda hedge trimmer attachment you son bought and I promise I will watch it. Lol
You did a thorough job with the pruner attachment. You didn’t just hold it up to the camera, like most ( so called) reviewers do and talk about what it can do.
Hopefully you’ll do the same with the hedge trimmer.
Glad I have a friend who does my videos for youtube also Chris LOL have a good one...
Help is good!
That's a very impressive tool!! I really like the blower attachment...I have 14 rental properties that I maintain and blow roofs off so would be ideal for that! Otherwise i use my big backpack blower hanging halfway off the roof or ladder!
There you go, get one!
LOVE ❤️ HONDA PRODUCTS.
AWESOME DUDE
Yup, me too!
Very nice video Chris and Bryce very intertaining and information. Chris the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. You two even sound alike. If the video was strictly audio I don't think I could tell your apart. Chris seem so to really enjoy the saw head attachment. Good job!
Thanks Shawn, you are scaring my son with the comparison! HA!
The interplay between Father and son is priceless. I can’t speak for the Honda convertible power head pole saw…but I’ve used a Stihl HT131 pole pruner with 14” bar for a lot of tree jobs and borrowed my buddies Stihl combi-system trimmer, blower, power broom, pole saw a few times. The power, rigidity, and on the fly adjustability of the pro version pole pruner HT131 is way better than the combi-system IMO. Besides, not stumbling around with more pole extended than what you need to make the cut improves safety and stamina. I’m a fat fingered hunt-n-peck typist like Chris 😂
Yes, the pro tools are always better!
I love all things Honda too. Motorcycles, current lawn mower, cars, tiller and both single a 2 stage Honda snowblowers. I thought I was the only one ever who purchased the Honda Versattach system as they removed it from my local ACE store. It works great but it is heavy. Thanks to this video I now want the blower attachment even though I don’t need it. Tell your son if he wants a bit bigger blower or a backpack blower and still wants to remain 4 stroke he can buy what was Dolmar and now is Makita blowers. I have the both the hand held and the backpack and they work very well for the home owner. Definitely go for the larger cc backpack blower not the smaller cc backpack blower as they say larger is always better.
Very cool, Bryce will be happy there is another Honda fan!
I have one of the sthil extendable chainsaws and it saves so much time that they are worth every penny.
Yes, they are nice for trimming trees!
Combi's are great tools. I went for the Husqvarna 535LK, which has the power to do almost everything, having 2.2HP!
Nice!
Super fund site 😂😂😂😂😂 with Chris quietly shushing in the background 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that made my week.
Yup, he called it!
great vlog guys real handy thanks
Thanks for watching!
I have a Honda dedicated trimmer, love it :)
The by far best line I have found its Stihl X line its a bright lime/yellow :)
The line that came with trimmer I didn't care for :(
Thanks for the tips!
G’evening Fellow Firewood Fanatics. Nice review ! Nice product. GoodNightIrene
Thanks!
You know for about 20 years I used big stihl 240volt chainsaws with 20" bars without any bar oil at all. They've discontinued them now and I can't remember the model number but they were a beast of a saw. Something similar to the power of the original farm boss.
We used them for cutting poly pipe up to 1600mm diameter and the reason for no lubrication of any kind was to stop any contamination for the welding we were doing to the pipe. A failed weld could've cost many thousands so the beating the saws cost was incidental.
I can assure you the bars and chains on their saws are extremely tough.
A typical saw probably ran for 3 to 4 hours continuously every day and I guess the average life of a saw was about 10 years.
Even using no oil on the bar or chain, bars were probably swapped out after a couple of years and chains could last out 3 or 4 months before they stretched too much for the chain adjustment on the saw. We never broke a chain.
It's tough believing Stihl no longer make them because you plugged them in and they went first time every time, they were light, they were quiet with really only chain noise and they produced no exhaust and these saws were used indoors.
Hey Chris, when are we going to see some wood deliveries using that old truck. You know a cut and polish, some air in the tyres and the windows wound up and she'll be ready to go.
You can't have valuable machinery like that taking up space without it getting used.
I make a lot of money with that old truck as a photography prop in my other business! The saw you described sounds awesome!
Good morning everyone
HELLO!
Great educational video Son like Father that’s great. Great grease gun
Thanks Donald!
Chris watching you trim those trees with your sons Honda tree trimming attachment you are leaving 4 and 5 inch spuds on the limbs you are trimming you have to trim them flush to the limb to prevent tree rot thats if you want those trees to live for many years but if you intend to take them down in the next few years it doesn’t matter.you have to cut them flush so the bark will regrow over the wone.
Yes I am aware, i was just trying out the tool!
When I did lawncare I had the husgvaarna combi
Nice!
Looks to be a nice tool. Lots of choices for pole saws these days.
Yes it is!
Can't wait to see Chris run those offcuts through the splitter. Lol
HA!
A 38-minute ad for Honda.
They make great products.

And don't forget 8 pound 6 ounce baby Jesus!
Nice unit. I like my two strokes. Maybe one day I switch my trimmer over.
It does run great!
Sunday morning humor
thanks Carl!
Nice tool
Yup!
Looks like an excellent tool for a home owner - Everything is a compromise - every power tool has its pros and cons. It looks like your son got a lot for his money - I would like to see if he has any misgivings after the next clean up season - In my book, you can’t go wrong with a Honda
For him and his home, it will last many years, it is a Honda!
Good to meet you Brice, you seem like a good man… are you sure Chris is your dad? 😂😂
HA! He sure is!
Contrary to the opinions of millions of others, I like your Dad.
Hi Chris.
Bryce. Sorry The Great and Powerful Oz. Is a credit to You and Your Wife. [ I would be forgiven for thinking that Beau was one of Your sons also but I am not sure if he if a nephew because he spoke of equipment that his dad had.}
Just One more task to take care of, now You have have to find time to play with one of those.
Regards.
David in Oz. [ You don`t need to reply to this }.
Thanks for watching David, Bo is my brother Kens youngest! He is a good fella!
Man oh man!! You were having way TOO MUCH fun!! Good thing you didn't have a longer extension. You'da been reaching over trimming Wisconsin!! - Honda has a good sound. Is it compatible with hyper speed? Does your son know about that ? Did Krypton have trees? Just curious.
Yes it is fun to cut up high on trees! HA!
Kenny wants you to bring the weenie saw up so he can use it to cut down a gnarly jack pine.
HA! Yes he would call it that!
I was surprised that it does not use a mix gas.
I have a Stihl 130 4 cycle and it needs 50:1 gas mix, bought new in 2007, or 08, and I use it a lot, and have only replaced plug in it about every 4 years. They have to have some kind of lubricant????
I would think so too.
Great video. I’m basically sold but the only hesitation I have is the weight, and you mentioned how heavy it is a couple of times. I have a fairly large rural property and I want to use it mainly for brushcutting, and the powerhead alone is 3.5lbs heavier than the comparable Stihl Kombi. I just wonder how that weight difference will play out if you’re using it for 3 or 4 hours. Incidentally, I think you mentioned that the dry weight of the powerhead is about 9.5lbs, and I’m a little confused by that, because but the Honda website says it’s 13.2lbs.
Maybe I was wrong, but I do remember that it was heavy after a while!
Looked at the attachment connection and it doesn’t seem that it accepts other brand attachments, other than Honda. Can you guys confirm whether it accepts attachments of other brands?
No, it does not it is a Honda.
Honda fan boy., nothing wrong with that. I am am Mazda fan boy. I would have a Mazda to haul firewood if they made bigger trucks.. So my Ford F250 will do..
Chris I also use the hunt and peck method..🤣👍
Yes!
Chris, I have the Echo PPT-280 Power Pruner. My tip is do not fill the chain/bar oil reservoir all the way. That few extra ounces, when the pole is extended out 13'2" will multiply a lot. Do not let the reservoir run dry but it does not need to be completely full. FYI
Thanks John!
My friend I was wondering i have a honda gx35 4 stroke petrol strimmer can I get a hedge cutter for this model please thanks.
I do not know, you might want to ask a pro shop that sells them.
I like the old truck!! Are you going to do anything with it, or is it just yard art? Dodge or Chevrolet, couldn't tell?
It is a photography prop, 1940 chevy!
Looks efficient! What is the sale price for this unit?
I do not know the current price.
I knew there was an Eagle Scout in the mix. Maybe more.
He is a good son, I have two and a great daughter too!
I have to get this machine
It is a good one!
🤘
THANKS!
Boys and their toys
TOOLS! I don't want my wife seeing that word! HA!
I was wondering how you had time to do all of that
Yes
It is a lot of work for sure!
Look at the height you could get with the tree trimmer by standing in your tractor bucket fully raised
HA! And dead!
I've done that! The trick is getting in the bucket once you've got it in position. That wire to the loader valve doesn't always work the way you want. Don't ask how I know that.
👍
Mr. B!
Handy tool !
Very!
Nice visit with your son. Tell him it's OK to spill gas and oil on the ground. your just putting it back where it came from.
I like that one Harold!
Where's the cultivator?
He does not have a need for one.
I thought you were off Deer Huntin..
I was for a week, I had a bunch of videos pre-made just for you!

Hello!
Chris, are you going to buy one or just borrow your son’s. Just kidding
Borrowing is cheaper!
Hehe, you’ve created a lot of clean up work for yourself. Does your son work with you in the photography business.? I have one of those little grease guns. Have they made a 4 stroke chainsaw yet. Do you know ?
Yup!
No, my son is a software engineer.
