If I had someone coming to my place to mow I would pick up the kids toys and get them and anything else in the yard out of his way. Cannot believe how a customer expects to get a free removalist as well as a mower man

Not that he expects to have a "free remover" this customer abuses the gardener's goodwill.

Here in the USA, your lawn service just cancels on you for that unless you are willing to pay extra for that. Homeowners with pets, kids, and people that hoard pay a lot extra.

The way I see it Tim, it's up to the person who is holding the trimmer all day as to what make and model of trimmer (s)he uses, I'm 6'3" ,265+ lbs so what may be good for a small person may not be good for me, but to each his or her own.
You did a great job of knocking down the high grass and hopefully the home owner will be able to keep it decent now, sometimes it takes a professional to get the place under control, and you are a professional

I can remember when the 'Weedeater' electric trimmer came on the market back in the 1970's. It was so popular, just about everyone went out and got one - at least in the U.S.A. For it's time, it was a game changer in lawn care.

Morning Tim, what a great difference again. The grass looks quite healthy even after the cutting. The house seems to be so nice, but not appreciated. People refer to picking up the toys and removing garden furniture, they can't even cut the grass, let alone putting away a hose after watering, I wonder what was watered. But it is all looking so nice and tidy, I hope they will realise that they are blessed to have a lovely home. I don't particularly care for the dark bricks, I would paint them if possible. Nice work Tim, hope you are satisfied. Go well kind regards.

Perhaps I am just a neatness freak, but it's not rocket science to remove stuff in the grass if you know there is someone coming to cut the grass for you. And does anyone believe that it is possible to get a nice, thick and lush lawn from Kikuyu grass? I had it in my old house and no matter what I did with it, it was rubbish. The Sir Walter I have now in my new house is awesome in comparison.

I went and bought me a battery operated Worx. Not sure which one but I have a small yard and it works great for me. It does do good on the bigger stuff but I don’t have that as I take care of my yard weekly. Can’t remember what our other trimmer is, we bought it at Sears. But I can’t ever get it started and it’s way heavy for me. Another larger trimmer that’s battery operated I use at work is crap. The line sticks and you have to take it apart to fix it. Can’t remember the brand. So whatever feels right and works correctly for the person is what I say. No matter the brand. Great job as always Tim. Suggestion? Could you move the camera more often. Hey Tim really enjoyed the two weed eaters not sure who is the winner but I guess that’s up to the individual. I had a two stroke weedeater but with a curve head and I was definitely having engine problems because I’ve never use the weedeater much but I did not like the curve head I felt like I had not much control. So I got rid of that and got a battery powered straight shaft and really love it. To give you some idea the backyard of the Family home you did is bigger than my front yard so the battery operated weedeater works good for me. Not sure if you’ve ever
Operated a curve shaft weed eater but like I said it’s uncomfortable for me. Thanks for sharing the video and take care

You mentioned a couple times thinking the Stihl was preferred cause of its feel being related to your height.
Personally I don’t think it is. They’ve just got a better feel in my opinion.
I use an fs94 as well, and I’m 190cm tall (6ft3in) and I have the same opinion that it just sits right and is balanced well.
And I find it makes all the difference when doing edges with the flipped vertical cut.
The slightly longer shaft of the Honda felt “off” to me as well.

Are you using both a blade and string trimmer head ? I cn see using the blade for the majority of the grass . And then on the oustside where you will be hitting walls or fences , etc To use the string to not damage them or dull the blade hitting the fence or wall .

It’s more expensive but I don’t use a large amount of fuel.
