Honorable mention to the sound crew for picking up as much crowd noise as they did. People missed a great game. The Trey Ford show would be fun to watch live. Saskatchewan fans show up win or lose. Respect from Winnipeg.
Also we payed mbt all that monny so if we do start him we will have a guy who's getting payed to sit on a sideline just poor aset management by edmonton
But we can't sign ford because we allreddy have mbt making 4 million dollars to sit on a sideline so we can't have him and mbt also if we do get rid of mbt we still have to pay him if he goes elsewhere
@@5Catspersonally, I would like to see it introduced in the NFL. Say, the punting team gets 1 point if the receiver opts for a "fair catch" and/or returner not taking the ball out of the end zone on a kickoff (provided it's possible).
Have to use a bigger field and get rid of the extra down or it will still be boring as hell. The smaller field makes all those goofy kicking rules a necessity.
@@billbaird2273 Its not too dissimilar if you miss kicking at goal (6 points) you can still get a point if its inside the outer posts. But getting a point by just kicking the ball far enough - that's a little too Canadian for logic to describe. But that's why we like Canadians. They don't need to be logical to have a good time.
Rough season but way to go boys ending on a high note is always what we wanna see now we just need Tre ford in QB for next season and things will look promising
Awesome game! Looking forward to a better year from Edmonton next year now that they finally dumped Chris Jones. Jarious Jackson has done a great job. They should keep him on in 2025!
@@arthurau9231 The player to get the ball close enough to do this is the point. As well, I'm glad you mentioned it, do you think it's easy to punt a ball that far? If a team wins the Grey Cup like this, I'm 100% for it, the joke is on you for not understanding why it's a part of the CFL game.
The ball almost didn't make it, so it is fully legit. I didn't watch the full game, so I don't know why a field goal wasn't attempted. A rouge would make no sense in US ball since the endzones are tiny.
Sorry im so late but im going to say this one last time.If EE management let Tre Ford walk away or they dont make him the starter for next season, this team is in serious trouble because after seeing what this kid can do,the fans that are left will all but abandon this team. The diehard lifelong fans like myself are trying to give some insight to the management of this team and if they do ont take it it will be to their own demise.
Awesome finish! I love the rouge! 🟥🏈
I love that you can win the game with a punt through the end zone.
Awesome touchdown by Zach Mathis of NDSU! As a North Dakotan, I'm happy to see former Bison in either the CFL or the NFL.
that's nice of you to say
Game highlights appreciated; thank you; go CFL go.
A great hilight package of a great sport. Thank you CFL.

Me and my father where one of those fans there last night honestly one of the best games I've seen
About 15,000 fans@@SillySongs4Everyone2001
I love the all-green Edmonton uniforms!!!🏉🏉🏉🏉
Imagine if this were the Grey Cup? I hope whoever is in it gives as good a show!
Thank you for a good season
Excellent CFL season. More thrillers and unlikely finales than I can recall in many years.
If Tre Ford is not the starter in Edmonton next season, something is seriously wrong.
He won’t even be on the team the dude is a free agent. I doubt he wants to stay on a team that fucked him around.

@@Austin_Niepołomice That's true.
Edmonton played a hell of a game. Ford should be their starter next year.
Or calgry

CFL games seem to go to the wire and/or be exciting throughout far more than NFL games.
The rouge makes every game more interesting!

As an American, I stopped watching the NFL. Too much money and too little sportsmanship. Still watch NCAA and, of course, CFL!
The second rouge for a win at the buzzer this season!
I LOVE the 'rouge' it makes the game so much fun!
A fine game with some big plays, the few fans attending got a late season treat.
Great game
I love CFL football! It's football the way it was meant to be played.
US football should adopt some Canadian rules, like stopping the clock in the last few minutes and the rouge point. Be more interesting.
Our football has 10 yard end zones so the rouge point would be way to easy for them

Just for fun, I'd love to see two NFL teams come north to play each other with CFL rules on a CFL field.
Puuuuuuuuuke, without Canadians on the field who know how to play 3 downs this would be nonsense.
@@billbaird2273 I'm just curious to see how it would go!
A win is win
Yea on a rouge.
Australian here - only in Canada can this sort of thing happen.
You win the game by being able to kick further than the other team.
You’re right. Only in Canada could Edmonton host Toronto in a CFL game.
Right, you can't score any points in Ausie football by kicking the ball anywhere.
The kicking game is an integral part of the CFL.

@@brucemorton7787 I know - I spent a few months there in 2017/18. I was in Saskatchewan and became a Roughriders fan. Still trying to figure out WHY?
That's what the rouge is all about always a chance to win! :)
What a finish!
Let go Argos 🏈 money time 💸CFL playoffs 🇨🇦 get that Grey Cup 🏆
Fun game.
Tre Ford is so good my lord
2025 The Edmonton Elks need to be a serious team. The players must take things seriously if they want to go to the Grey Cup.

Dear CFL, Keep the rouge. Signed, A Rouge Loving Yankee.
ROUGE FOR THE WIN!!!
Viva la Rouge
If you skip to halfway through the video, it’s already the 4th quarter
Edmonton Win
Most of the Argo starters weren't playing. The game meant nothing to them except testing the new guys.
As a rider fan… holy shit that’s an empty stadium.
When you see such empty stands in such a great league, then you know there's something seriously wrong with Canada.
Well, Edmonton at least.
Its Edmonton, they aren't in the playoffs the past few seasons
Fans aint spending time on crap teams
No.
The Oilers (hockey) were playing at the same time, and they’re one of the best teams in the league.
Exactly the elks will always play 2nd fiddle to the oilers
Not a fan of either team however...the best that could happen, DID happen.
Tyranto lost.
Hope the Eskimos won 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Unfortunately they did.
Edmonton smelks
This is why the CFL is a JOKE. Punting the ball through the endzone for a point. Could you imagine if the Grey Cup was won on a rouge?
I'd be fine with it. Means a really close game with even teams. Sounds good to me.

The rules have been in place for a long time. All the players know it’s a possibility. Stop whining.
