- Walter Fletcher scored a pair of touchdowns and the Alouettes continued to look solid to start their Grey Cup title defence, emerging with a 23-20 victory over the Elks on Friday. Montreal quarterback Cody Fajardo connected on 20 of his 30 pass attempts for 269 yards and two majors.

Love those empty field level seats the TSN cameras try, but fail to conceal. That's 11 and 41 for the Elks. It looks good on that spineless Board of Directors.
I have always found the CFL more entertaining than the NFL.

I asked about the attendance and some fan told me it was a great turnout because it’s a big stadium. I say BS and I don’t understand why this hasn’t become an issue. Just imagine the four Argo players who signed with the Elks. They must feel right at home playing in front of an empty stadium.
It’s the Edmonton Eskimos and always will be for anyone that isn’t woke .

Only suckers pay to go to the game today. Few in Edmonton care about the Elks, whose record setting loss rate continues again this year. Tragic
FC Edmonton begged city to let them make Clark field as soccer specific staduim. City almost agreed, but Eskimos came in and forced the city to not allow that. They wanted extra field as practice grounds. FCE folded a few years ago, and I blame Eskimos/Elks as one of the factors.

Edmonton Elks doing just enough not to win. One should've been interception dropped that would have been returned quite a way, if not for a pick 6. One pass wide open receiver drops pass that would've been either great field position if not a touchdown. And a few questionable coaching calls to boot. It all boils down to the little things at the professional level.
Edmonton needs to change their name back they have not won since seriously why the name change you were honoring a people now you are honoring the elk that are everywhere even in lower 48
