LETS GO ARGOS!!! Just getting into the CFL this season, and I'm loving it so far. I'm from Cincinnati Ohio and I haven't really watched the CFL much until recently but its great!
They played well last week too but the Riders forced a few turnovers and that made the difference. This week the Argos forced turnovers and add Grant’s punts and kick returns to give them the win. Otherwise the teams were very closely matched.
Well, everyone falls eventually. 13 games in a row is still an incredible run. Montreal needs to find a way to deal with some of these injuries or else they might start a losing streak
In spite of injuries they still played well. The pick 6 and Grants returns were the reason’s they lost. The pick was just a mistake by a QB who just stepped into the game. Grant was able bring the ball up to give Toronto good field position over and over all night and also get a TD shows that the ALs special team needs work.
As a Detroit Lions fan I have to disagree. I love the CFL but also love the NFL. They are both extremely entertaining sports, That 1st TD pass by the MTL backup was insane..Exciting game for sure. Last season for the Detroit Lions is pretty hard to top, man.
I hope Cody is OK. Evans stepped up and showed that he can be a starter if any team needs one (TieCats). I don’t cheer for either team so I watched this one purely for entertainment and I enjoyed it. Thanks to the players on both teams for working hard and delivering a game worth watching.,
@@marlonanand4501 Kelly is already making 250000 a season. Dukes keeps this up he might fetch more $ on another CFL team next year. Dinwiddie play calling is exceptional . But yeah it will be interesting when Kelly returns. Argooooooooos 🏈
Possibly. But Mtl special teams could not have been worse. Every one of Tor's k/o returns went for over 40yds - and with different returners! I didn't see McMahon's, but Janarion went untouched for ~40yds on the opening k/o, and was completely untouched on his 102 yarder. Lucky for Mtl they have a bye so they have an extra week to convalesce!
I'm not a Toronto fan but that was an impressive win. EDIT: I love these 10 minute recaps so I can see what's going on in the rest of the league, thanks CFL. Go Lions!
Defence, Special Teams and the running game did the job. Our backup QB made fewer mistakes than their backup. Hopefully Toronto can be 5-4 or better when Kelly gets reinstated.
Congratulations to Toronto Argonauts for getting a win tonight. Alouettes even without Cody Fajardo were causing problems in the 1st half, but Toronto managed to score quite a lot of points in many different ways. Kick-off return TD? Checked. Pick six? Checked. Receiving TD? Checked. Rushing TD? Checked. Field goal? Checked? PAT? Checked.
Double Blues baby! Hell yeah! Also, wow, didn’t know that Fajardeu(sp? I think that’s how you spell it; Montreal’s QB1) was the Als entire offense, since Evans did not look happy to be under center.

They can. He only made a couple of mistakes last night and I doubt Cody would have won. It was the special teams letting Grant give the Aros good field position that made the difference.
Imagine if Als had a good QB, heck of a TD pass by Evans though getting hit. As good as their season has started in my opinion they are nowhere near the dominance of a Calvillo QB Als team.
Montreal lost because they couldn’t stop the Argos punt and kick returner from giving his offense good starting position. He even gave them an extra TD. You gotta stop that little jackrabbit or he’s gonna win games for his team.
@@teo_heel maybe so but TOS second td was result of brutal missed holding call. They seem to watch the play and then decide if they should make the call….considering 2 or 3 receivers are offside every play that would not be a surprise.

It's been a really great season so far.
One thing I love about the cfl is how fast paced it is.
Glad you think so.
Been a fan of the Calgary stampeders for about three years now the CFL fun and legit I’m from prattville Alabama
Get your friends and family hooked on it. Canadian Football is different and in many ways better than American Football.
Toronto really learned their lesson from the loss last week v Sask. They came in seriously motivated and everyone was dialed in.

Another Great game to kick off week 5 in the CFL.
Great coverage TSN❤️🏈
Week 6, not week 5.
Cameron Dukes rookie calm and collected. Big win for the young man and his team mates and coaches. Go Argos.
This is his second year bro😊
@@travis396 But his first year as starting QB
He wasn't as calm and collected against Riders last week with 4 picks and 0 TDs.

Ti-Cats don't need a QB. Bo-Levi isn't the problem, he's doing great. Ti-Cats doesn't have a defense, that's the problem.

Well Montreal got a loss tonight but they played well. But they need to figure out a better deal or way with the injuries on the team.
Eager to see the return of Chad to the ARgo pivot.

Surprising. If not for Fajardo getting injured, who knows what would've happened?

I coach Argos RB, Deontae McMahon in HS in Florida. You are saying his name wrong. Its Mack-Ma-Hon.
We love him here in Toronto ❤️🏈
McMahon is such a weird last name... so many different way to say it...
You did a good job coach.
how is it legal to yank down a defender from behind not be called a hold??? i saw this i dont know how many times by both teams!!!
Losing Fajardo was huge, but not everything.
the problem with the CFL is nobody tackles. every time there is a completed pass it is almost a touchdown.
You don't watch enough CFL games.

It’s Montreal thing.. it’s annoying
They are not as bad this year. I think TSN found a way to reduce how much the mics pick up.
It takes home field advantage to an unfair level.
I don't mind the horns. It was the damn seagulls that flew into the sight lines of the cameras that get me riled up
