Glad to see Jared helping with the content Andy with his knowledge and realizing the camera doesn't bite.👍👍
We need more Jered videos. The amount of knowledge in the guys head is pretty amazing, especially when you consider how young he is and that he picked up those skills through hands on experience. A lot of guys can swing wrenches, some even do it really well. The guy in demand is the guy that can troubleshoot and accurately diagnose faults so that the right part is changed. Good on Jered for getting the Mack back on the road.
Jared is so talented. Great to see him talk and explain what he is doing.
What a channel! Great work!!
Alex always has that smile going what a sweetie.
I love seeing Jared is getting more open on camera... he is a smart young man and he teaches this old Fart a lot... thank you young man.
And on another subject all you young single guys best be sharping your game up if you plan to land a beautiful young lady like her.... a young lady that will work you into the ground... beauty, brains and work ethic.... wow hard to come by now days... awesome job mom & dad !!!
Jered is a master mechanic in his own right. Matter of fact all your kids are very talented. It's a recognition of a Mom and Dad who raised them with exceptional can do possibilities.
There pride and yours shows throughout every video.
I can only imagine just how much your wife's tutelage and encouragement from day one has given them all the power to succeed on every front.
What an amazing heritage you two have continued in the family life and business.
God Bless you all.
It's amazing what you guys know and do to keep the equipment running
You are truly blessed with your kids. Great jod Jay-Rod👍👍👍👍👍
Jared is one talented lad, just like his Siblings. Andy & his wife are lucky to have such work smart, intelligent & level headed children. Love that turbo whistle :D
Jared knows his stuff for sure hope to hear more from him
He does a very good job explaining things too. I was almost understanding what he was talking about and the only thing I know about engines is gas engines take gasoline and diesel engines take diesel fuel. Oh yeah, they are located under the hood.
One heck of a mechanic and he doesn't give up on a project.
We will now bow our heads in a moment of silence for the Freightliner... Haha, Looks like Westin Champlin dropped by to help you put it out of its misery. That young man Jared is quite the talented mechanic. I always liked tinkering with trucks and tractors but I was never quite that fearless.
Best regards from Indiana.
Nice job Jared good ear saving the motor and a speedy repair
My (now deceased) mechanic uncle always said "you can't fix a damn thing until you know what is wrong with it". Words to live by.
That’s the most I’ve seen Jared on Camera since I’ve been following your channel
Jered holds the record for best road tractor burn out in my book. I've got 2 nice C15s sitting here in the yard with his name on them I'll give you guys just a hell of a deal lol.
No way man they're the 6NZ Super mega engines that everybody wants all the Billy big rig truckers
Trading out a 3406-B with a 3406-E electronic would cost about 4 times what that Mack's worth. That cam will be toast...hard to say how long before it takes out the new cam follower.
Had a acert c13,biggest pos
Put the freight shaker out of its misery whistling diesel style. Good to see Jared having fun.
Hey Andy !
Thanks for your time and have a good day !
good to hear Jared talk,, he is amazing young man
glad to see your guys have good ears for engine issues. So videos of farm helpers just say ,NO IT's working fine . Then Boom !
Glad to see Jared in the video again best of luck with the truck
i live right down the road from you guys, and it looks like the weather isn't gong to co-operate on the hay. It's been dry as heck for over a month, now it's gong to rain for a week - go figure. Hope the truck survives the season at least. The 3406 is a great motor, but not cheap or easy to freshen up. Thanks for sharing!
Can you see the smoke from your house haha?
@@Adam_Poirier If it were not for the trees, I could. I can hear the grain driers in the fall clearly and the spreaders go by my house almost every day. Sadly I missed the truck testing...
@Richard Homan I think the video is from the 9th which means they beat the rains of late. Lotsa respect for farmers who have to work with mother nature. I have a small greenhouse (sell garden plants) and trying to keep my plants from freezing last spring gave me a greater understanding of just how little you can control nature.
One of the best engines caterpillar ever made
You should be happy Jarrad staying at the farm that going off and becoming a great diesel mechanic because he is 👍😊
Jard hope you get the summer out of it look forward to seeing it rebuilt this winter
I like your explanation of the track on the skid steer and the window delete yesterday. I think they don't like picking rocks and the best way to get out of it was break them and not be sent back out. Or the BOYS set them up for failure. LOL.
I have have a 85 cab over still running strong. Have a great day
Good video. Jared sure knows his engine's 👍
good job on finding the problem in that engine interesting the way you troubleshoot it👍
Thanks Andy for another great video
Thanks Andy
Most of the Mack Superliners that I know of had the E9 998 Mack V8 in it . I know of some Superliners with Cummins and Cat motors that were put in for modified pulling trucks. That would be cool to have an old Brockway semi as they were made not far from you. Brockway actually was developing the Superliner as Mack owned Brockway shut them down in 1977.
I never knew until now that the Mack had a Cat engine. The R models we had were all purchased with Maxidyne engines. We had a 1974 that was still running when I retired in 2016. It had over a million miles on it.
That's the reason for different colored bulldogs, gold is all MACK!
There was a R-model around here for years, that was Detroit powered
Very good content from jared keep on farming 👍🏻👍🏻
The fun never ends hey??? Impressive Jared right on top of things.
He’s some mechanic 👍🏻
Great job Jered🚛🛠👍
I think Jared deserves a how dare you for the Freightliner.😉
Good save Jared
Great video Andy, the ole freight shaker rollin some coal😁hoping you hit 100k subscribers 💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻
He was driving it like he stole it. 😮
Jared knows how to "shake down" drive train issues, don't he?
Holy crap… The lad put a line lock on big rig😊
I could totally see myself dropping a flashlight into the head while it was running without the covers on, if I was trying to look at it like you 2 did.
The bigger the boy's the more they like bigger toy's lol Let that black smoke roll ! Yes you will find that Ultrashift has a lot of Wiring Harness Issues . One of the biggest problems they are finding out is they are using to lite of wire. The wire ends and plugs are too lite as well. The heat from the Computers that run the shifting Generate a great deal of heat . Which in turn causes plug failure and wire Harness Failure. The Peterbilt Truck i drove with under 200,000 miles on it had 4 complete wiring Harness in a 18 month span installed by the dealer ! So good luck with that mess .
Great Job 👍👍
Were are the cops when ya need them on the back roads, KIDS 😂😂😂😂👍. Thanks men. Thanks Jared also appreciate your knowledge!
I think Charlie's even got Jared talking now
That’s the most Jered’s talked in the last five years!
She has that personality. Lol! Joy to listen to her. Bring a smile to your face.
Miss Alex talked! I'm making my calendar I still say Alex and Sarah look at like twin's
U lads great machanics
Thank you and thank you for your APPRECIATION to your subs
Park the Mack and fix it the right way. It won’t last through the harvest..once the cam starts wearing, it’s done and just waiting to grenade especially the way jeered drives. Lol!
Give my buddy Justin at Flint Creek Transport a call. He’s got tons of rigs. He’s not too far from you.
Sorry I've been MIA bud. I'm on the mend now. I've missed your daily issues of running the farm and that witty sarcastically dry humor of yours. 😳😂🤣😂
Andy maybe contact Duffy. He has a couple older trucks and isn't doing Chopping because a family disagreement.
EPA will probably be visiting your farm soon . Probably Greta as well !
Looks like your practicing for Cleetus and Cars burnout competition 😁
Jared has a one stack Mac with no shack on the back . That is the saying you were looking for .
Guess you guys are going to have to jeep your eyes open for a couple newer tractor unit at the auctions to keep your fleet numbers up
Were it not for mechanical repairs & failures, dairy farming might actually be profitable. However in the unlikely scenario that occurs, government regulation would step in to prevent that result. 🤔🗽🇺🇸🚜
interesting enginies. worked on 2 at LOPKE years ago ,
Poor old freight shaker. If you're short on trucks for silage season, I think there's a guy with an old r model that might be looking for some chopping time.
Great video glad to see all the kids getting in on the content.
Ok whos going to fill us non instagram people in.
Time to find an E9 for the Superliner.
I'm going to get you guys a SCHULTE rock picker. LOL!
Say one thing Jard know how to give a truck it's last good ride.
Great Vid👍👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🛠🛠
The cat is running as sweet as a lolli
nice ride jared,
Girls had your back Andy. Maybe revenge from yt from the corn crop message 2 years ago.
Jared was really ripping on it... is that called testing? Or job security? Lol. I wonder if Miss Alex had that big smile while she was out doing wheel stands and..."picking stone"
I would be really interested in buying that Mack, if you ever want to get rid of it.
the hater pipe out of the hood, fucking awesome.
Well Jared’s got it halfway into a pull truck with the freightshaker lol
We should sacrifice a Prius in its honor.
The whole video I was staring at that turbo I thought that was the switchblade that you put on a few years ago but I remember you had trouble and took it back off. At the time I was looking to get one for one of our a C 15's and after I watched your video I decided against it. Good find on that roller lifter, it'll be OK if he keeps good oil in it like you say. I've had a couple of the cats with some big gouges in the cam lobes and they ran quite a good few miles like that.
We are actually working for the company that manufactures the Jake brakes right now moving some manufacturing equipment in their facility. i'll have to see if I can score some hats from our guys there lol. That's a pretty slick welding trailer you got there is that yours?
It’s my brothers
Thats tha greatst truck
Nice
Jared done went and "Sent it " again Yee Yee
you guys need to do a video with kt3406e now. hes pretty good at killing detroits and busses tho
Hell yeah!!🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Good video Andy. Jered must make you proud!! Now how did he lineup all the black marks from the fright liner to write FJB in the road😂😂 post pictures
Boy who’d think sending an old freight shaker to the promised land would irritate so many people
Well that freight shaker was a shaken, Ghee getting to sound like Jerry Lee Lewis on this channel , whole lot of shaken going on!
Peg leg be proud
You guys have any interest in an old gmc general with an Allison and a 6v92 2 stroke? Seen 1 for sale not far from me in western mass. Ex fire tanker I believe only has about 13k miles on it and it's super clean. Price seems good too could grab it for less than a used 4x4 pickup.
Lmao I think you found the problem 😂🤣
I'm going to tell Gretta. How dare you.
put a gal of Lucas in it i use it in all my engines my 12.7 Detroit got 1.4 million out of the bull gear before it was replaced on my 2nd inframe in 21 yrs
" I think it's FK'D".....LMAO!!!
Call up duffy he’s itching to do some kind of farming and he has the mack
Looks like a cp4 lifter pump failure 😎
The shine is defiantly gone when you retire things.
Farewell to the “freight shaker”
Paydirt was ranting about his switchblade turbo on his channel.
Was he
👍👏👏👏
Luckily y’all be running Uncle Joe’s electric rigs soon😏😏.
Hello!
Contact Chris Duffy for one of his trucks!
Triple exhaust
Andy how much cotton do you grow and do you raise it to sell I know all about wet hay it burnt our barn to the ground the Fire Department got our hay wet by putting out a small fire from a lightning strike, 4 days later it burnt to the ground Fire Department said it went up in smoke because of internal combustion from putting out the original fire
We don’t grow any cotton
