StarCrossedPimp lol if you wanna hear it the way it sounds recorded sit in your room and listen to the album. If a band mimics live exactly how they recorded it that would be fucking lame
Idk why they even chose to do this particular song, as it's def one of the most strenuous on their voices and the hardest to sing live. Makes no sense other than playing their most "accessible" song, tho even that is questionable considering this album had a lot of hits.
@@joshisnot11 because it was their first single from their first 'major label' album, and this performance is 12 days BEFORE the song was released to radio. that's 100% why they performed it.
@@Drewan27 sounds like taking back sunday and a little like older jimmy eat world and jesse lacey wrote some of the songs while still with taking back sunday . they toured the album with other emo bands such as further seems forever , finch , thrice , dashboard confessional ect . and did a split right after with an another emo band . the whole band credits saves the day as an influence too
Man the early 2000s were great
Vin's stage presence is next level in this performance.
everything about this video is so emo
Brand New is as real as it gets, at least they didn't waste anytime putting on any white make-up or black fingernail polish.
Yeah man, I've heard every album hundreds of time. I honestly have no clue what I was thinking when I said YFW wasn't pop punk.
Hi Moz!
so good
Pop punk is the perfect genre. Everyone likes at least one song by Blink, Fall out boy, New found glory, or brand new.
My favorite genre since I was 16 and I'm going on 32 years old now
Joe McLaughlin The only genre I listen to ever since I was 14, Im 22 now wonder if id ever grow out of it
same 23 atm , fav genre since 13 and forever
what a like about this concert that there is no cellphones
September 24th TWO THOUSAND AND WHAT?
In my opinion, "Your Favorite Weapon" is my favorite album.
Cmon Vin, your voice would have made it if you went up at the end. This is fucking tv.
Kimmel sounds drunk af LUL
@kilboy36 highly doubtful.
i'd like to think so, but Morrissey is probably too arrogant to take notice of musicians who aren't his backing band/himself.
their first record was pop punk. this song is pretty much pop punk...
the devil and god and daisy are much better thentheir first two records though.
I really hate the phaser effect vinnie went with on this song, but otherwise, great performance...brand new is super hit or miss live
All right, I’m going to say it. As fun as this looks the way they switch their songs up live blows.

@joehjoehjoeh1 how the hell could you call Brand New pop punk, or even put BN in the same thing with Fall out boy and Blink182. You must be crazy.
Cameron Spivey YFW was a pop punk record.
@@Drewan27 literally emo but okay
@@schizophrenicdolphinz9822 it was a pop punk record lmao.

Why is he afraid to reach for the high notes?
The lead guitarist looks like an early foo fighters dave grohl
He had long hair foo
if dave grohl wasn’t hideous
Still hate the effect on vinnie's lead
this is pretty terrible for a network tv debut performance. lead singer is legit all over the place.
