This expansion, and especially this area, gave me a pretty strong Legend of Zelda vibe. It was cool.

The music for this game is just plain astounding. You can say what you will about it, it is one of the best scores I have heard, and for such a great game! Elder Scrolls has good music in general, but this is of a class which is really transcendent, and frankly reaches a height that Elder Scrolls can't. TES scores as a good mundane soundtrack; but only in a game with such a fantastic story and background could take this track and soar to a place no other games have gone--literally another world.

I suppose it's just ignorance, but I don't see what this track has to do with the Wells of Lurue. To my recollection the place had to do with Okku and his ancestors, aside from the intrigue against the protagonist by the strange clan. I love the track, I just don't know what it has to do with the location, I suppose I could have found another backdrop for it...But that's me.

I'm so disappointed in BG and IWD music, really...I just don't feel there are that many that breathe the same life into the environments or else they just seem too cacophonous for my liking...Granted I have not finished playing through Baldur's Gate 2 or IWD 2, but so far the music has not impressed me nearly like NWN 2 or even the first. In particular of the NWN tracks I like Frozen Hell about the best with a few other battle songs, but MotB has THE BEST selection, nearly all of them great!
