Someday, i will have the real deal. lol ...along with KITT. C'mon lottery ticket! LOL
I'd like to do one of these but leave the stock dash inside, only replace the electronics. It'll make it seem like an earlier model than KARR. Quick question, I read that in these types of conversions the heating ducts are removed to make room for the dash, is that still the case?
that glossy dash is awful. I have the same MCK dash but I am sanding mine down and painting it satin black. Also replacing the plexi overlays with the correct style overlays. My car was built on a budget for well under 10K
I was thinking about the turbo boost for KITT. Obviously you couldn't just jump over another car without some modifications. Theoretically what if you could place a detachable plate under KITT. The plate would be magnetic and would travel ahead of KITT. Then when KITT made his jump, the magnet plate would activate and cause KITT to make a softer and less damaging landing. Is that theoretically possible. I got this idea from thinking about maglev trains.

This interior is so fantastic! I never saw a single episode, but this car is damn sweet! It really could've been used for a Batman interior instead, I think...but that god awful sound. Who on the tv show gave that the 'ok.' Yuck! 😛
Well, the only thing that's really missing is the 2 point tow bar under the nose. I think someone else pointed that out once on another video, that most people get that wrong about recreating the car. In fact, if you watch the show, look under the front nose, you'll see the 2 point tow hitch bar in the front of the car, I even noticed that years ago, years after it went off the air.
Does it have to be a 1982 trans am ? I can't find one the only Pontiacs close to the year I can find is 70s 80 and 85 . Will it be possible to turn them in to a Kitt replica ?

You should have gotten the Gullwing steering wheel with the horn button emblem. Always need a horn button.
