This is really an innovative trem system to a long standing floating Floyd Rose problem that nobody in the industry has been able to fix until now. 👏
    Couple of things.
Did not understand the portion explained between 1:30 and 2:00 in the video.
Secondly, I have zero experience in doing even the most minor setup on my instrument so setting this up including install seems more than intimidating and my concern is that most luthiers will not have worked with this because it's not too common.
Would definitely install this on my instrument if I was confident that a luthier could do it for me.

1:30 describes a small setscrew in the body bracket that can variably offset the moveable lever bracket to fine tune the "E" pitch relative to a tuned "D" when the brackets are closed.
2:00 explains in detail that a small adjustment in the set screw by the L-wrench shown can make a big difference in equalizing the E position relative to the fixed/pre-tuned D pitch on the 6th string

@@merkaba22 thank you for that. What is your opinion on the install and adjustments required. Do you think any luthier can do it?

@@allboutthemojo designed to be easy to install -- many players over the past five years have successfully installed the our tremolos, especially the Global Tuner Pro upgrade themselves, it takes about 20 mins extra for the initial one-time adjustment of the contact pins to meet your body properly .. in some cases a luthier is involved, not usually. We have material we can provide, most of which is on the website, including new videos.... The Drop Tuner takes a little more time to setup but once done, its done too -- unless you change string gage or drop overall tuning, for example.

Can you tune your guitar down from standard to E-b with just the thumbwheel and the intonation would be correct?

Did you have to alter the size and shape of the tremelo cavity to fit this system into that stock Charvel?

no, they are specifically dimensioned to fit vintage dimensions

    How do you adjust intonation?

This would be great information I just ordered a custom build with a 2.92 but its still months out so if they don't do a video by then maybe I will

@@jamesmandarino6641 I think it’s a little ridiculous. They’ve put quite a few videos together and some thing as basic as intonation adjustment. They have totally left out. Makes me believe it is a real pain in the ass. Because the rest looks too good to be true.

@@shannonfishkill8957 Could also just be the difference between a craftsman versus a social media expert not thinking about it. The luthier building my guitar says it's pretty easy I know one thing, it can't be much worse than a Floyd Rose is. Feel free to reach out in the future and I can let you know. I'm assuming it'll be at least 6 months till the guitar is done but I'll be happy to answer any questions.

@@jamesmandarino6641 I know the Floyd Rose sucks.. I want one of these so bad just to eliminate it. I wish they would make one that wasn’t a Tremelo that was just a hard tail conversion. It’s a shame but I’ve got an Ibanez RG 770 from 1989 that I love but I absolutely despise the trim wall, especially when trying to tune down drop D it’s just unplayable and it’s such a good guitar.

Insert the supplied 2mm hex wrench into the round port next to the string slot and loosen the saddles screw and re-position to suit -- its a left handed screw, so you experience it right handed when loosening or tightening -- there is also a "safety" hex port on the head of saddle screw secured against the bottom of the base you can access when the tremolo is removed...
