  • short demo showing the esp stabilizer at work.. and it really works great. the floyd returns in tune, and since i like to emulate slide using the the
wammy only I need to adjust it so it only touch the block.. the rubber pad is really required to give a smooth return..

Hey thanks! been debating on getting one of these for a while but wasn't exactly sure how much it blocked.

It works good, but you'll have to give away a full "floating" feeling since it does need to rest against the spring preassure/ball. Another thing I found was it increases the bottom end since the bridge now have 3 points to rest at :-) So it sounds better!

@@TheTrondro there is a full floating feeling still but its a 2 stage feel. This device holds it at one tension, but it pulls up much easier than you would think. It just takes proper planning and setup. I like it.

but... if it goes out of tune when I do the "dive bomb"?, it goes back into tune when I pull them on the opposite side of the strings. what do I need or what is wrong with my tremolo.

I put this device on mine. The little round rubber disks don't really stay put and it makes the tuning a bit vague. Without the cushion its a bit noisy. The trem kinda floats, pulling the bar up is easy enough, lighter than I expected. But the clacking noise is annoying. My trem block is brass and really transfers everything. A Nylon disk may be better.

I used a pick on mine

I ended up putting one of those pick grip clear pads in there, I think they're made of silicone. Works perfectly 👍

SO you still have to set the floating trem like normal then add this right?

Same thing i want to know and nobody is responding. I've always wanted the exact ones Ibanez made for Steve Vai. I know they flutter nicely.

Nope, but it is a very cool tool anyway. In the end it's up to you. I use a double system (AEX tremsetter, check it out), and works wonders to my strat.
I prefer not to use it with my floyd-loaded guitar though, because it stiffens the bridge too much.
