  • Whether you're promoting your business or a special event, custom T-shirts make wonderful giveaway items. As with all custom apparel, they allow anyone wearing them to act as promotional assistants for your brand imprint. Wherever they go, your custom logo will be on display. And unlike so many other promotional items, T-shirts can last for years if they're properly cared for, which really stretches the reach of your promotional budget.
    But what size T-shirt should you hand out? You want to offer people shirts that fit, but you can't guess shirt sizes before a promotional giveaway event. Might we suggest that you opt to go larger rather than smaller? If a shirt is too small for someone, it's essentially unwearable. But if a shirt is too big, it's easy to shrink, using the instructions found at www.qualitylog....
    Keep in mind that these instructions work best for shirts that are made from 100% cotton. That means that when you choose from our list of custom T-shirts (available at www.qualitylog..., check the description for material used. If the shirt is 100% cotton, the description will likely tell you. If you're still not sure, go to www.qualitylog... for information on how to contact us directly.
    *DISCLAIMER: It is recommended that you check the care tag and/or contact the manufacturer of your garment before attempting either of these shrinking methods. While these methods work best for cotton shirts, results may still vary.

    • @QualityLogo
      @QualityLogo  6 років тому +12

      Every fabric is a little different, but for cotton t-shirts you want to place your hoodie (gently) into boiling pot of water right after you turn off the burner. This will bring it down 1-2 sizes after soaking for 5 minutes. We recommending you letting it dry and you can repeat the process again to bring it down another size or two. Good luck!

      @@QualityLogo Can we boil it in our bathtub? LOL serious question

    • @QualityLogo
      @QualityLogo  6 років тому

      Long story short, yes you can boil it in your bathtub. Depending on how much you want to shrink your short this might not be the best option. The water will need to be boiling and because bathtubs cover a large surface area the water is less likely to be the correct temperature. If you don't want to use a pot, boil water and pour it into a sink instead to maintain the boiling temperatures of the water and get the size you're looking for!

    How long do I let my T-shirt dry?

    • @QualityLogo
      @QualityLogo  6 років тому

      You can keep checking the shirt every 15 minutes to see if it's shrinking to the size you are looking for, then you can lay it out flat on a dry towel for the rest of time! Air drying on a hanger may cause it to pull on the t-shirt and stretch back out the fibers.
