I just got a solid rosewood neck guitar and was trying to figure out how to describe how amazing it feels. i think you’re right about the density. i think it really makes a difference. it feels luxurious compared to my solid maple necks
I have a 2016 American Pro Tele with a rosewood neck and the thing is so awesome. It's hard to tell what's different, but it is, and its so good! Mine is the Surf green though!
always loved to see pete and the captain jam.their riffs are really cool and licks are beautiful specially on clean tones. Even with overdrives you can hear the notes clearly and nicely pleasant to ears.
These Rosewood necks are incredible! I got a tele with one a few years ago. It is so comfortable to play. The only thing I wish they would do with these models is have the fender logo on the headstock white so you can see it!
Ok, Special Run dream guitar for me. Like what Fender did a bunch of years ago in the "Plus" line: Telecaster with a Strat tremolo, Strat contours, Hum/Single with a proper split on the hum, regular Tele single coil neck pup, LSR roller nut, maple or ebony fret-board. 24 frets (at least 22). Bunch of cool colors including Antique Olive, Red, medium blue. Right now to get all that you pretty much have go to a boutique maker like Anderson, Suhr, etc. (Though Berger guitars in the USA makes one similar). Great show guys.
I have the Strat in olive green with the black scratchplate and my goodness does that guitar look mint, that Tele is calling my name...totally skint at the moment but wow that looks sooo good.
Lee "The Captain" Anderton hit a high-register note on the Strat at one point that I can only describe as tonally sublime and really exciting. Great playing!
God I LOVE the Tele that Pete was playing! My dream guitar guys!!! Soon... When I get back to work, that is my dream goal. So happy to hear that you may be soon reunited in the same room! Lee, great playing! Pete terrific as always! Lee, Tell your wife without the Beatles, there would be no “moving forward”. We would not have moved past them.
