Sylvia and Peter encourage audience input on the practical aspects of implementing such policies in various work settings
I think it might need to be very individual - for the workplace it's about making sure the work gets done. For example, when I had my retail shops, to offer a 4-day work week I'd have to create rosters and extra staff but each person would be earning less - is that what the staff member wants?
I think you can be fairly sure that workers will not want to take reduced pay. Employers would probably try to reduce wages if an employee wanted a 4-day week. We are constantly up against the time measurement vs output and productivity measurement.
